Hi guys just about to book our medicals- we have spoken to Manchester office and they have said Ill need an extra blood test (hep) as I have pierced ears. Our medicals for 2 adults seems to work out at £570 is this about right for ehealth??

Anyone else had medicals in Manchester or Birmingham- how much?? We were just going to go to Manchester but didnt realise prices might vary?? Wondering if Birmingham cheaper?

Also any ideas about how long we will wait?

Thanks

We found manchester cheaper than Brum, although went to brum as nearer and could get us in quicker. Everybodys circumstances are different, number and ages of children, medical prof req additional blood tests so its hard to compare. Brum do more of an all in one price where as manchester charged seperately. There is also quite a difference in price if you want it sent electronically. Manchester also charged a credit card fee and brum didnt. I suggest you just contact both with your individual circumstances to be clear on the overall costs. Cant remember overall costs for us but it was well over a £1000.

May or may not help but we had our medicals in the South East and for a family of 4, kids 13 and 10 it came to £880 (no chest xray for the 10 year old as under 11). No additional blood test for wife and she has pierced ears.

HTH!

We had our meds done in manchester 2 weeks ago and were told that they had changed the rules and there's no need for the blood test for hep,so we never had it.

we paid 640 for the meds 2 adults and 2 young children.

We went to Manchester and had meds done. There 6 of us 2 adults and 4 kids and it was £904, which seems alot for what they do, but you have to have it done. They were very good with the kids.
