457 Processing Timescales

Hi - I'm new to this forum, but just wondered if anyone has recent experience of applying for a 457 visa?

 

We're applying from the UK and received approval of my husband's nomination on 18th Jan. We'd submitted our online application on the 14th Jan, just after the sponsorship application had been approved.

 

We've got our x-rays on the 29th Jan and were hoping to be in Adelaide by first week of March (8 weeks from application date).

 

Would love to hear from anyone who's been through the process / is going through it as to how realistic this sounds!!

I got my 457 visa 8 weeks after applying online almost to the day.

It's taken us another couple of months to sort out the bit and pieces of our lives here and we arrive in Adelaide on the 7th Feb.
