Just a quick question, Is it true that the job market there is as bad as the job market in the uk? Or is there still plenty of opportunites ?

By all accounts the job market across the board is slowing down.

 

 

It's hitting everywhere from Government contracts,councils onwards.

 

Just spoken to a friend who works for a large organisation and they are laying folk off.

 

Looks like a recession is sweeping through.

 

Australia is probably paying for being so strong.

Think its more to do with the uncertainty of rising household bills, mortgage rate rises, carbon tax, leccie prices, council rate rises, people are NOT spending money like they used to.

Except for the lady that bought my other car today.
