JUST GOT BACK FROM PORT DOUGLAS YESTERDAY AND I CAN THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR A HOLIDAY!!!
SO MUCH TO DO AND TO MY SUPRISE VERY FAMILY ORIENTATED. I MUST SAY IT WAS A BIG SHOCK COMING HOME TO 14 DEGREES WHEN WE HAD 26/27 DEGREES ALL WEEK AND 60-85% HUMIDITY!1
THE MARKETS WERE FAB AND SO WAS KURADA MKTS AS WELL. MOSSMAN GORGE IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES TO VISIT SO TRANQUIL AND SERENE.DALE PLAYED GOLF AT THE SEA TEMPLE AND WAS IN HIS ELEMENT ALL DAY,LIKE A KID IN A LOLLY SHOP. SO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GO CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!
WE HAD A BALL!!
Having been to Port Douglas a few years ago for a holiday I would agree that this is a lovely area.
However beware the stingers in the sea (Jelly Fish), only swim in marked areas, and don't sunbathe on the beach. We did and got bitten to death by Sandflies!!.
Sorry to hear that but I`m a Sook so it needs to be 40+ for me to go in the water!!!
Great part of the world to be at this time of the year though, not to hot yet!!!!!!!!!!!!
