Hi my names Geoff,

I've been given a 1 year secondment which could be in creased up to 4 years or even permanent by my company who have also paid and sorted all the visa and travel. They have offered me a salary of $70k out of which I will have to rent a property. What sort of property and how much could I reasonably afford and be able to have a reasonable lifestyle?
