SO will take it no reply means nobody knows then?.....as clear as mud.

After visiting our family over the past 6 years, we have used a 3 month visa but we are visiting this November and are planning to stay for 6 month so we are looking ar the sub-class 600 visa which is for 6 months, however we are not too sure when to apply for this visa as we have heard there is a "must not arrive after! clause that we understand to be, if we apply as now by the time of entry in November it will not be valid as you can only have it a month before travel, which appears to be a bit silly !    as it takes approx 3 weeks to issue the visa. Any information that could clarify this problem would be appreciated, as Immi Au are not too helpful at this point in time or just slow at returning emails.

Sounds like its the Parent Visa or the Parent Contributory Visa 143,173, any idea what the time scale is and at what cost?

Hi Blossom I have a stepson and his wife and two chirdren, so the pull is the grandchildren, i am still fit and able to work but do you think its "hate to say it but" too old ?........

Me and the wife are looking at moving to Adelaid permenant to live with family, and for me to work i have a work sponsor, but our ages are me 60 and the Mrs 63, is this possible firstly, and if so which Visa should we be applying for.
