    We don't know the fine print of the new policy. People who came on 489 or 190 or have studied a Certificate IV and above in australia does not need to prove competent English.

     

    I personally like the government's decision though I'm impacted as well. It was necessary for to do it. As I have seen people just wait for the PR to jump on CentreLink payment. Which is hurting the tax payers like me. As I don't have any plans to go on Centrelink as we like to work. The changes doesn't effect my family. This is just my opinion. Personally I'm happy with the changes.

    Looks like because of 887 & Citizenship reform. All applications are on hold. I haven't seen any Grants in few weeks. The frequency slowed down. I have completed 6 months since I applied my 887 and sent all the documents on January 29 2016. Haven't heard anything since then. I wish I get the grant soon. Good luck to all!

    We are still waiting for a response from our CO, anyone is in the same boat?

     

    applied on 08/06/16

    requested info on 06/10/16 and submitted on 02/11/16

    requested more info on 21/12/16 and submitted on 25/12/16

    still waiting for response from CO and it has been almost 3 months...

     

    We would like to make a complaint, anyone can shed some light on how to make a complaint? We use a migration agent but she is careless so we would like to make the complaint ourself.

     

    any suggestion?

    8 months today since the application.

    Whenever I call, they say they are doing background checks and it's hard to predict when it will be finished.

     

    I'm going to be here for a loooong time.

     

    Hey man, why ain't you raising a complain, if your case is far over. There is no point just winging in the forum. If I was you I would raise a complain. Unless there is some other issue that you are aware in your case?

    It is actually true as there are good numbers of email in pipeline their SLA goes down n they pick up email to bring the SLA on track

    Worst immigration System , they don't care for Genuine applications .I applied 487 in 2009 August and then in 2014 they grant 489 now again i have to wait for 887 don't know till when, Frustration is on its peak for me..wait wait wait.........

     

    My wife lost a permanent Fulltime offer in a popular bank yesterday. Luckily they offered her Contract for 6months till she gets her PR and then change it to Fulltime permanant

    I am delighted to share with you all that, my application was through & I got my PR yesterday.

     

    Application Date: 20.11.2017

     

    PR Grant Date: 13.02.2017

     

    Thank you all for your most valuable suggestion from the day I lodged my visa.

    Which out the inputs of you guys, it might be a hard walk.

    Hi All,

    Please help me, I applied on 13th July 2016 got case officer on 25.10.2016 asked for employment.I am taxi driver and he asked for driver accreditation,I don't have because I am bailment driver.so don't know what to do. Please help. I am in Queensland. Applied for 887 visa. Thx in advance

    I know it doesn't affect my PR

    Am talking will they take time to decide this visiting visa until my visa get decided ?

     

    Send an email, this should help you push them to process your application quickly.

     

    Everyone is waiting here in the forum. I don't think anyone can give a timeframe. It's best you them. And hear it from the horse's mouth!

    Guys

    I need small information or suggestion

    I have lodged my application on 24th Aug.. CO allocated but no result yet... Now it's been More than 5 months

    My wife is 8 months pregnant... I want to invite her parents on visit visa.. i have not applied all these days bcoz i thought my application wouldn't take so long..

    Now it's high time... She is getting close to her due date..

    Can i apply now ? Will there be any prblm in processing...?

    Any suggestions will be helpful..
