Yes it's me. I have just got the granted last Monday (08/10/2018). Could not be happier after a long waiting time with so much difficulties, dramas and frustrating...

To all whom still waiting, from my own experience, if you got no granted after 6 months, it is likely your evidences or documents were not sufficient to get a direct grant. In that case, please consider following things:

    1. Get and upload more STAT DEC (from all people who know you)

    2. If you have a driver licence, please ask contact Vic road (if your licence from Vic) and ask for Driver licence history - that would show your living address from time to time

    3. Make a spreadsheet to list out all of your living time from time to time and which documents file name support for it. It would make thing clear for your CO. Then upload it.

    4. Do not just upload your payslips, you should make another spreadsheet that show your working hour every week or fortnight or month with which documents file name support for it.

    5. Last but not least, if you believe that you have uploaded all required evidences and documents (more than 6 month), try to call Immi and inquiry about your application. If they said "cannot answer anything", hang up and try to call again. Some officers will not answer but some will and he/she may even tell you which are you missing. Or at least your inquiry will be notified to your CO.

Goodluck and Hope it can help!!!

For my two years living I uploaded all official document that is from medicare, centerlink,my rent agreement, utility bills and when CO ask gor kore wvidence I asked my real estate to give me a letter in their company letter head ensuring that I have been living in the regional area for last two years.Plus my rent ledger since I changed address but was with the same rental agency....for work wxperience I submited payslips, super statements, bank statements, plus a letter from my employee that I have been working with them for last two yrs and within this two years I have 52 weeks roster where I worked more than 35hrs per week. Hope this is aufficient enough.

Yes I have the same feeling. We can’t do medical before they ask us since we need hap id.How frustrating.Plus I was wondering about poliece check will they ask another from us both from back home and AFP. So manu things to worry about. Atleast ask for medical I would say that way it gives me a hope that they touched our files....otherwise this is so depressing.???

  4. Hi guys

I applied on 22nd Dec 2017.CO contacted for more infomation on 25th June 2018 and we submited all requested doc by 20th July 2018......its been 9 months already since we first applied  still no response.I asked my agent to knock them so he drafted me an email yesterday.....hopefully he will send the mail today. My question is how do I contact CO on phone? My baby was 4 months old when additional papers were asked now he is 7 months.....I am worried that now they will ask for his medicle and my police clerance from Bangladesh I got it last OCT do I have to apply again. How long a police clerance is valid for.Though I did not travel anywhere outside Aus  from March last year.It is very frustrating since we finally decided we will be living in the regional area where we are living now but to get a good job and buy a house in the area we need our papers.

  5. Hi can anyone plz tell how long a foreign poliece clearance is valid for migration.I saw that its 12 months.Just wanted to confirm. Also can anyone plz update the spreadshit that the CO asked for 1yr work experience which was submited before but they want with certified copies,2 yrs recidency, partner’s english thing, baby’s health examination in papers.....my police clearance from Bangladesh.....all submited still no response......still waiting for last one month it is very frustrating since my baby will turn 6 month this 26 of August and then I will have to do his medicle and well then again wait for another month or so.Very frustrating even though we like living where we r staying now.Cheers guys and best of luck.

    Hi mate,

I hope you get your grant soon.

What kind of medical check document did CO require fron GP? Is it a form or just a letter? Can you please share about how we can get it from GP? If CO gave you a form, can you please advise about form number?

    Thanks,

Thanks Daniel I hope so as well. Just tegular general medical check up.His height, weight, head count all GP has to do is worte this down on his letter head amd give info that he is in good health and he has been guven vacine regularly.Ya they sent a consent form mentioning that as a guardian I understand the helth check up needed for Aus visa and all that thing but I need to sign it after the doc check up.My baby needs to go for his 4 month check up anyway plus he had his 4 month’s vacine today so it will be om I guess.Hope it helps you.

Co asked for more documents yesterday 25.06.2018

partner’s english eligibility....well he have an Aus deploma....studied full time for two years.....

baby’s medical checkup from GP as he is only 4 month old

they also asked for my two yr recedency which I submitted before and also 1yr work experience which as well submitted before.....with payslips from Coles

I thought the only documents needed was my baby’s passport and all that related with him

well my agent have submitted everything except for the medical check up since I am going for his 4 months check up on 9th of July.....hopefully it will be ok.

???? a bit sad but still keeping hopes

It's totally up to you. But if you are older than 31 & you don't have a personal health cover, your Medicare levy will be increased by 1% every year.

Yes I am 31yrs and 8 months....just have a baby and he is also registered for medicare.Rigt now I am just thinking of cutting the extra cost since I am on maternity leave so u know.

Working uber is still on either ABN or Tax but it's safe play as long as in your current area, anywhere else, as i said before, a minimum risk factor, but not a major risk.
He is not main applicant, but soon you applied 887 visa he moved to metro, but you still under same visa condition and bridging visa is not on effect till your 489 is valid. CO are less likely to check anythng apart from main applicant file,
Make your file streight and focused on you, CO will hardly bother his current status as long as 2 years are fullfilled and he is not main applicant.

    Hi Thank for your reply

My husband is not moving to metro. He will just drive to metro area as it takes only 3 hrs and will drive uber maybe for two or three days. His two sister lives in the city. Anyway we are trying to get a job around here and will not risk it and yes all i submitted for 887 is my papaers like my payslips my tax papers his was only basics like form 80 and 1221 and then police clearance from my country and AFP everything else are mine.

  12. Hi I have applied in 20.12.2017.Got my medicare as well. But I ve one question I am the main applicant and my husband is my dependent. We have lived and worked full time in the regional area for 2 years. I have read cases where the dependent did not lived in a regional area for two years but still applied for 887 together and actually got it granted. My question my husband is planing to work some part time jobs in the metro area maybe 2-3 days since he had to leave his jobs and it is a bit hard to get a job in regional area easily. His resident address will not change and it will where we are living right now and me as the main applicant is not moving anywhere.Since I am pregnent and will be going on maternity leave soon we really need to earn money and it is easy to do something in the metro area. Would be grateful if I get a reply at the earliest.
