Guys, don’t take too much stress as we know whatever conditions in our visa are applicable for us not the new conditions that they are putting in the Beta website.

My life cycle (don’t know about others) ... ... ...

April: Problem started (after applying 887),

May: Too early to expect grant,

June: End of the financial year - grant quota over,

July: Beginning of new financial year,

August: New immigration rules apply,

September: Processing time increased further,

October: Gossip about existing visa conditions, 

November: Hopefully, will get some news next month,

December: Holidays...holidays and holidays - no expectation,

January(next year): Hopefully, immi will speed up (but in reality, as it was),

February(next year): Complain ..... complain and complain. You will be loser if you’re not complaining,

March (next year): Hopefully, will get some good news,

April (next year): Oh shit! One year gone still expecting some good news from immi.

Do you have any idea about the new law ? When it will be implemented ? Four years waiting time to apply for citizenship is for us ? Or, it will be implemented next year ?

887 887 everywhere !

But, not a single visa to grant !!!

It seems to me that the current speed of 887 visa processing is : 2 weeks/month.

That means, COs are completing applications for two weeks in each month. Which is so frustrating

Every month there are some issues for 887 visa processing like - EOFY or BOFY or COs are on leave or immi laws changing etc etc ... ... similar to my country when every time price hikes there are some reason like - Drought or rain or flood etc etc ... ...

I've an enquiry. I applied my 489 visa through the agent. Now, I'll apply for my 887 visa soon. I recovered my immi account details from the agent and I want to apply for my 887 visa using the same immi account. So, what's your reckon ? Will I face any problem using my agent's previous immi account or I need to create a new immi account ?

I did not wait to compensate 10 weeks of holiday period. Don’t be surprise, I lodged 887 only in 23 months after moving in regional area according to provided residential evidence. I think since you stayed around 3 months after your grant they may ask for another UAE PCC. I think you better apply for a UAE PCC now since you have time. Because it takes minimum 3 months to get that PCC

Hello guys,

I've a situation like this - I got 489 visa on first week of December, 2015 applied from Dubai and left Dubai in the mid of March, 2016. Then I went back to my home country and stayed there for a month. I came to Australia in the mid of April, 2016.

I'm going to complete my 2 years stay in the next month. And I did't go back to Dubai since I came here in Australia in the last 2 years.

Will the DIBP ask for the police clearance from Dubai again ?

If anyone having the same situation please share this.

I’ve a question regarding holidays.

In my two years stay in the  regional area, I went overseas for 30 days in the first year and I didn’t go anywhere in the second year.

 Can I apply for 887 exactly after two years or do I need to compensate?

I'm a full time permanent employee but in my reference letter it's mentioned ' Full time employee' only.

The total no. of  hrs/week or  permanent/casual employment is not mentioned in my letter.

Is it ok to submit this letter or I need another one ?
