Hi Guys,
My AFP has been expired and I have updated it as well.
I still have a question regarding family member added to file by mistake and their name appear on the file to upload their documents.
I did call immigration and they advise that "keep it as it is as they will ask you to remove afterwards".
Please advise that should I keep as it is or remove it from the file? If yes How do we need to do as I have added 4 extra members who are not suppose to be there. Tried asking an agent but they charge more than 400 to make that change. Worth paying or not?
Thanks in advance.......

Hi Guys,
In my immi account under my name whole family member's list also appears. I felt like this is the mistake I have made as they should not be under that list.
does any one have any idea about how to edit this one?
Thanks

Hi Everyone,
I have submitted my file on 19th March 2018 and still waiting,
As file was submitted on that time I was expecting to get any outcome by November which has not happened yet. I did plan 10 days holidays in November at that time. Just got 2 questions around it if you guys can help in it.
(1) I went to one of the immi agent and asked that because I am planning to go overseas in November, Do I need to inform department regarding this or not? They have advised that as they do scan passports at airport they will know about it automatically so we do not have to inform them at all,
(2) Do I need to apply for the PCC for the country I am visiting as I will be visiting it for 10 days.
Thank you guys in advance as I have always got correct information from this Forum whenever required.

Hi Guys,
Quick question, is it advisable to keep health insurance after applying 887 or it does not really matter.
Any chance that case office might ask for it at later stage?
Thanks

You do not have to, but I think most of us still did. It's a small form, why not just quickly fill it in, too? It's kinda a short version of Form 80.
Thanks Mate. I will get it filled as well.

Can I use the space under my partner's name and submit few documents there?

Hi All,
I am new to this forum, but good news: just received direct grant yesterday.
Applied on 15/11/2017
Direct grant 07/05/2018
CO: Sophorn - thank you, mate!
We made sure ticketing all boxes of the "document checklist" (as per advised on the DIBP website):
- current passport biopages, me and spouse
- drivers licence Australia and home country (NAATI translated), me and spouse
- birth certificates (NAATI translated), me and spouse
- form 80, me and spouse
- police check Australia and police certificates home country (NAATI translated), me and spouse
- bank statements (daily account & savings) covering 2 years period, me and spouse (joint account)
- marriage certificate (NAATI translated)
- utility bills (electricity & gas) covering 2 years period, under my name
- car & home insurance covers and renews, under my name
- lease contracts & renewals covering 2 years, under my name and spouse
- cars registration, under my name
- ATO tax returns summaries 2015-2016 & 2016/2017, me and spouse
- PAYG summaries 2015-2016 & 2016/2017, me and spouse
- job offer & contracts, full time job for 2 years period (lucky me), me
- about 18 payslips (monthly pay), me
- job reference letter with all info requested (DIBP website) signed by HR manager, me
- superannuation summaries 2015-2016 & 2016/2017, me
- job offer & contracts, 2 casual jobs, spouse
- job offer & contract, full time job (for the last 8 months), spouse
- about 20 payslips (weekly & fortnightly pay), spouse
- IELTS test results (Sep/15 & Jan/18), spouse
- no health exams required for both
Except for the Australia drivers licence, all documents submitted were not certified - just good quality PDF copy of originals (even if back & white).
We have been living & working in regional area since we got 489 grant - so we were not really expecting any issues.
Over the 2 years period I travelled overseas on holidays/family visits twice (about 25 days combined) and my spouse 3 times (about 35 days combined) .
Overall, I am pretty happy with the process. Even if not as transparent as some may expect, it is pretty straightforward.
Comply with what you said you would do, gather the docs, apply and get the grant.
I would like people here as this forum has been great to give us an idea of were the applications backlog was, so we could have an idea of when we would likely hear news - as it happened.
Thank you all.
Congratulations for the Grant.
Thanks for sharing the list of documents you have submitted for the application.
Just a question for the documents, DId you submit the copy of the passport size photograph or not?

Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum but been reading those topics from almost a month now.
I have few questions as well if someone have any idea about them.
(1) when I uploaded the documents, I could not upload the photograph as I exceeded the maximum limit of 60.
Is that a big issue or they will ask me after allocation the case officer?
(2)Are we eligible for interim medicare card or not?
Thanks guys in advance.

Hi Guys,
I have just applied for 887 visa recently. Has anyone got idea about, how long does it take for CO to be allocated and approval for the visas.
I have submitted all the documents except photographs as it was exceeding my limit of 60 documents. Does that created a major issue for it?
Thanks in advance guys.
