I got my precious 887 visa granted little while ago. 

Actually I cried for the happiness. I was impatiently waiting for that. Other thing is today is my Birthday 

Lodged on 13-02-2018

First CO contacted on 16-03-19

PR granted - 17-07-19

Hi Guys, 

I know the visa processing time is 16 to 17 months. After case officer contacted, how long it takes maximum to get the grant? 

Is 16 to 17 months period is for the total time period after visa officer contact? Please clarify.

I think they will start looking 887 visas after Christmas. I am enough with waiting. No grants today even. Last grant has been on 24th October and there after no grants !! We can't think of a future like this. 

Hi Everyone,

It's irritating to wait almost 9 months to get 887 visa lodged at the beginning of the month of February. At that time visa processing time was 9 months. Currently 12 - 15 months. They will increased to 2 years I think. If the 489 expires ,bridging visa comes into action and there are no conditions?? Therefore may I move to wherever I want? Please explain
