I am happy to see so many people have got their grants since I last checked this page. Congratulations to all. 

I have been waiting to apply for my 887 since may as I was waiting for my wife's 489 SE. My wife is offshore and was recently granted the visa. 

I am now looking to apply for 887 whilst my partner is offshore. Some sources suggest that I can apply it based on the new concessions on 19th Sep however the IMMI website states the applicant need to be in Australia at time of lodging the visa. 

Can you please provide your opinion on it? Thanks!

Just use the First name and Initials of surname from the spreadsheet of applicants awaiting a decision.

Hi Ashok, 

First of all congrats for the approval. Also can you please advice if I can apply for my and my wife's 887 together even though she is overseas provided she gets a 489 visa.

Additionally, as 489 visa has now ended can I still apply for my wife's 489 subsequent entrant visa? 

I would really appreciate either your or any other senior member's advice on this matter.

Hi guys,

I am on 489 and was planning to get married. My question is can I apply for my partner's subsequent entrant visa once I apply for my 877, as technically I would still be on my 489 visa for 2 years after applying for 887. Also if any one can guide to approximate wait period for 489 subsequent entrant visa. I am looking to apply for my partner's visa from offshore. Thanks for the help. Hope to see many more people with their golden emails this week.
