Guys, I am coming back to the race.
Some information.
My result is L9 R9 W6.5 S8 O8
It is enough but I am furious with the way they treat migrants.
It looks like they thought that I needed 7 so they cut my writing by 0.5 points to make me come back.
This bloody approach took 3 years on my life on a regional visa because I was short of 0.5 when I was moving to Australia:-((((((((((((
All about money.
I did not want to wait for 189 with 60pts...it is costing me 3 yrs as well
btw, CO asked for my son passport which Im unable to provide due to covid19...any ideas if I can be granted PR. CO Brooke contact on 19 May 2020.
Applied 1 Dec 2018

First, congratulations on the birth of your baby. Really sorry to hear you've been waiting that long and the new addition might delay things even further.
The first step is to apply for a birth certificate. In the meantime, download form 1022 and fill it out. Once you acquire the birth certificate, send a scanned copy and form 1022 to skilled.support@homeaffairs.gov.au
The CO will issue visa and ask for medical which will just be a GP letter and emedical consent.
It will be hard to get visa without baby passport, so start preparing on how you'll acquire the passport.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
Congrats to all who received their grants!!
I think it is possible since my son (and all with a new born) has now been granted 489 and a bridging visa, all without a passport, just not sure about 887. The case officer will treat this on a case to case basis i guess

Mine is still initial assessment.
Did you click "I provided information..."?
Thank god I saw your post.....The "I provided information as requested" is so tiny and at the bottom of the page!
I have provided the info like the same day but did not realise we needed to do this...hopefully get a response soon.
And yes, once you supply all the required info click the button

Got a request from CO Julie for newborn passport today. Unfortunately due to Corona virus, passport application is on hold and can only be done in Canberra. With the travel restrictions, this would be impossible. Anybody knows whether they would provide grant without newborn passport? We will just attach a letter explaining the situation with passport and hopefully they would consider.
Applied feb 23, 2019
1st contact: april 29, 2020 request for baby medical
I'm in the same boat, baby was born 1st March 2020 and due to Covid19 there are no passports issued by my embassy. I have written a letter and attached through immi account to explain the situation.
Crossing fingers and waiting for a reply!

887 Visa - What's the update?

Just draft a word document letter to Immigration Office/MOFA and write with your own words "Due to Covid-19 station the passport is going to be delayed or your embassy is not issuing until further notice" just a 2-3 lines document then save it and attach it as a PDF. I noticed some nationals applied (for the passport) and got a receipt, so attach that as well.
