I am not sure if any desperate employer waiting for BVA visa holder... Its disastrous for applicants, its career, its family. We are socially deprived in the name of ESC. We have to wait until doors open otherwise its too suffocating with scars on every waiting soul.

i get my BVA Visa last month when i applied for PR

there is not any restriction in this letter and i can work any where in Australia.

Hey edie i think not much we can do apart from waiting and keeping in touch with department, but i can honestly understand what you going through i applied first week of april 2013 , still no luck and also you are nearly there , by the way did they tell you is it under checks or what?

no idea what they upto, I know people coming on 190 and processing time was 4/5 months. I have no clue why they doing this with 475 group. I think its not country or faith specific.

any applicant from pak specially sg887, khan2942014, jesuslord or anyother person who got any update from their case , or anyone they know , i have recently seen two grants from pakistan in my friends circle but on a different visa class 885. Plz do share if you have any info:)

Eddie, which country you are from, Are you from Pakistan? if you have no contact from immi, you can ring them and they should be able to give you details of your case officer, then you could communicate with them thru e-mail, I am sure you are subject to security clearance and it can take 6-12 months for security clearance only.

how we could contact them? I know calling them is useless.

Just completed year. No contact from immigration sofar. Someone told it could take 12 to 14 months after case officer. So be ready for a long journey guys.

I have not checked old online progress checking system after importing application to new system. But happen to check today n there is update that application processed further on 12th dec. but no message on new system. Does anyone know what its mean ? If it CO allocation or just routine mail. I have not received any communication or email since i file my application. Anyone wanna comment.

For those who wondering what's happening with their application until july 01, web site says case officers are allocated to all remaining applications on 23rd dec.

The tables below list the earliest lodgement dates for applications that have been allocated to case officer. You can use this information to determine when your General Skilled Migration (GSM) application will be allocated and to prepare your application for assessment.

This information was last updated on 23 December 2013 and the next update will occur in late January 2014. Applications will not be allocated over the Christmas and New Year period.

This is not correct, many people are waiting.

Someone gossiped don't know if its true, if u have 2 or more kids, strategy is to delay as much as possible cause this will save funds for them as they have to pay child support. Sound bit mean but u never know. A guy came here on regional PR and got paid child support after 6 months as they were lacking funds. Hoon.

If u launched online , bridging visa comes on email for each applicant in ur email as separate mail. I am not sure in case of paper file.

I tend to agree n not sure who is administrating xl sheet. I see Mr WT recently n he is already granted. Good news if original.
