Hi all,

Finally I am landing in Adelaide in the mid of August and I am looking for sharing accommodation to start with.

If anyone is moving in August and looking for shared accommodation such as extra room share or unit share, please feel free to drop a note.

I do not mind any particular location for stay, but preferably closer to CBD or easily accessible by Metro.

Any pointers to the same is appreciated.

I would be on the lookout for accommodation (Single/Sharing) by end of March 2015 when I arrive.

It would be great if anyone could extend their support in that and am looking to meet new friends for socialising as well.

If one has to "Stay away from flats, units, town-houses" what else they can buy ? Can someone throw some light on short supply lands or houses and where to contact ?

2014 was not that great for Malaysian airline..I pray nothing bad should happen to this Air asia flight and passengers.

Awesome information for People planning to settle and make a New life in Adelaide. Even when I visited for a week's time last summer during December, I felt the city is isolated and not bustling with much outdoor activities as in any other cities. Probably its because its vacation time and people were travelling elsewhere. Later realised its not what I presumed and it has got a lot of things to offer us in terms of value, freedom, family time etc.

If and Only If the Job market is booming and solid, it would be the top most city for secure living and future. With instability in the jobs and lesser demands for the skills assessed, it perplexes even the stable minded souls.

If someone could let us know, if it was always this way w.r.t IT/ICT or any Professional Jobs in this city, may be we can very well prepare ourselves ahead.

Hi, Your plan and strategy is worth the attack. I believe the jobs are not so booming in Adelaide market during summer and vacations, But at the same time perseverance is the key and you would definitely get through with a job when the right time comes with right networking contacts in place.

Hello everyone, Nice to see many of'em moving to Adelaide during early 2015. We (I, Wife & 2 yr old) would be migrating here by feb/mar 2015 too. It would be good to catch up then. Our research is in progress and Glenelg seems to suit us. Any information/links on Homes, IT/ICT Jobs in/around CBD and primary schools would be highly appreciated.

Do you have any insight on how to identify if the jobs advertised really exists !! and what is the best approach to secure a job in IT/ICT profession in SA state ?
