Hoping to get over some time next year, in the process at the mo!

It would be really helpful to know suburbs in adelaide and surrounding area that are family friendly. Would like to be near shops, parks, and schools but not necessarily near to beach.

Nothing too expensive! Family of 5, so 4 bedrooms would be a must with a budget of approx 450k dollars

Thanks alot, new to all this!!!!

Hi and welcome to the forum

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a suburb in Adelaide that isn't family friendly - most have a few small shops nearby, a big shopping mall within easy driving distance, and a choice of parks and schools!

If you haven't already done so, have a browse on Real Estate, Property, Land and Homes for Sale, lease and rent - realestate.com.au or if you have a look at Welcome to the NEW Home2Home website there is a suburbs database (on the menu at the bottom) which you can search by proximity to the City, then click on individual suburbs to find out a bit more about each one.

At the end of the day, it may be a good idea to consider where you might be working, what sort of industry for instance, and that may help you narrow down choices a bit more.

Sorry if this hasn't been much help, but honestly, most of Adelaide is pretty family friendly, it's one of its best points!

Diane
