Granted the visas so we are getting over there for Sept this year - can't wait! Lookin forward to joining you all. We are rather new to this site (this week) so we wanted to say a BIG FAT HELLO to you all....

 

Tiny bit about us.....The wife is a homeless support worker/prolific fine artist (www.lisaashcroft.com) and I'm a gasman/plumber/heating engineer. No kids as yet

 

Quick question: has anyonw used a relocating/resettlement servcie to get them 4 weeks rental on arrival???? Any help would be greatly appricated (oh and where are the areas we should NOT move to).....see ya

Congrats to u and welcome to PIA. We landed in Adelaide 2.5 weeks ago so still finding our feet, but can recommend this site as people I've met through it r so helpful. Never used a relocation agent, just booked rental accomm ourselves via a PIA member for 5 weeks. As people say on here, areas r down to personal preference ie, city suburbs, beach, hills etc, don't think there r that many bad areas, sure one of the more experienced members will b able to help u there though. Great news we too got our visas through today and are heading out Sept.

Hoping to settle around Port Noarlunga, Christies Beach areas.
