As you have been here a while:biglaugh:

Can kids once they leave school get a health card if they dont earn to much money.

Daughter came home the other week and said a guy came to school and told them that even if your parents earn loads(not that we do:sad:) you as school leavers in further ed can get one.

Is it a visit to the medicare office for this???

hmmmseem to remember my son lookin into this, but was put off by the large amount of pages in the form.......but yes I think they can be eligible for one as a low income earner. Not sure if they have to be 18 first. Def worth a visit to medicare/centrelink. You can download the application form from the centrelink site I think.
