Hi

We have our flights booked for October 3rd. When booking we didnt have the option of extra baggage, the allowance for BA is only 23kgs. Iv read post saying that if you are a permanent resident then on your 1st trip you can get an allowance of upto 40kgs. Has anybody ever done this? If so how did you go about it?

Thanks

We flew with Singapore Airlines 2 days ago!!!! All we did was email them and they confirmed the extended baggage allowance - mind you still had to send some on with another company as had too much :)
