Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knows where/who to book our flights with.

I have searched everywhere on the internet and dont have a clue (cant find) where to get excess baggage from that isnt going to cost a fortune.

I have read on PIA that some people have mannaged to get 40kg.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance

The Flight Centre can usually match Singapore's prices and say they have a special rate for emigrating ie. one way trip which gives you a free 40lb allowance. I spoke to them only yesterday in my local shop but I expect you can do it on line too.

If you are calling from the UK try this for singapore airlines 0844 800 2380

PS. I believe Malaysian Airline also have a similar deal but it's not usually available via agents

Hi, we got 40kg per person with qantas on a migrant fare. It was a deal with the shipping company but I believe you get it anyway if you have an unstamped visa. I think the same is for singapore airlines if it is the 1st time entering the country under your visa.

You can book via the Flight Centre network in the UK. They have shops in many of the big cities and their website is Cheap flights, holiday packages, hotels, car hire, touring and travel insurance | Flight Centre call them and tell them what you need. They are specialists in Australasia - I have used them several times and they are very helpful and will spend a lot of time getting flights researched and organised for you, one-way or otherwise.
