  1. I live in seaford meadows myself, in an affordable rented house. I think your labelling the whole of seaford meadows isnt correct when really though you just have an issue with one neighbour. I live on a busy street with a mixture of social classes, some rented, some bought, thats the kind of mix you get here in Australia. Its unfortunate your having this bad experience but i can say the past 18 months ive had not one issue living in seaford meadows , nor have several people i know. Rather than ranting on here and putting people off buying or renting in a nice affordable area, perhaps address your issues with the landlord or the police? I think personally its great 40% of the houses are affordable, as a single working professional mum im more than happy here, as are all the people i know here

. Also as someone who works with all social classes, the south of adelaide has huge issues with drugs, etc , it happens on every estate, not just the seaford meadows, you could move to seaford rise and still have the same problem! Believe me ive seen it first hand, hope you get your issues sorted , think youve just had bad luck with your neighbours.

  2. Really depends on the lifestyle you want. I have mainly lived south in the 4 yrs I've been here and prefer it. Fantastic beaches etc. port noarlunga has lovely restaurants and a great feel to it, my son goes to the primary school there, and though it looks dated they are expanding and rebuilding. I'm more than happy with the school. I live in Moana, but I'm building soon in old noarlunga. Id say don't make decisions until you arrive as your basing it on other people tastes personally, good luck x

  4. Hi my son goes to port noarlunga primary. It is a growing school and last year their intake went up alot. So far ive found it excellent, but my sons only been there 2 terms in reception. I know other paretns who are really happy with it. It has a real community feel to it and they are spending alot of money next year on new buildings and refurb. For me i loved the aquatics programme alot of the schools dont offer my son did a whole week of morning lessons down the beach, snorkelling and body boarding. They dont have a catchment area but wouldnt be suprised if they did eventually start if it keeps growing, i know mcclaren vale primary has one not sure of any others (not public anyway).

I guess the choice will come down to where you live, saying that we are in moana and i chose pnp. Good luck with what you decide :-) ps where in manchester u from ?

  5. Hi im after a quote to connect power from a power pit to a block of land. Builder has quoted megabucks to trench from pit some 60 metres not including replacing a neighbours driveway!!! Other option is to have a power pit installed outside the block by Etsa again at great cost, have been told it will be more cost effective to get my own quotes. Block is in old noarlunga, we have 3 pit options , nearest means trenching under the road and wont upset the neighbours but we also need council permission. Anyone recommend anybody cheers!!

  6. Hehe yeah i meant that Diane but forgot the word for them lol. Yes some of the roads are still shut sadly, went to the Bambruk visitor center, it was a very humbling experience to see the timelines of europes invasion, and how the aboriginals were treated. We stayed at the comfort inn as a last minute thing but tons of fab accomodation. The shelter we went to was Gulgurn manja i think it was mount zero road that was open. Jtct your pics are amazing , we crammed alot in but saw hundreds of corellas (sp??) fly home to roost over lake bellfield was truly awesome!!!
