Got the grant mail today

Applied 24 Aug 2016

CO requested docs for the  1st time in last week of nov submitted on dec10th, (same docs work proof and residential proof,. Though submitted them before)

2nd time - march 21st, submitted - march 27th (requested aus PCC as it got expired )

Meanwhile we had a newborn baby

So submitted all the docs for my baby boy

Consent form, birth certificate, passport, and a letter from GP 

( I would like to suggest something here, if u had a newborn baby,don't wait for the case officer to ask for the docs... Just submit the above things as early as possible, that helps you to move the file faster )

3rd time - april 27th., Submitted - may 4th ( same aus PCC again for my partner, as we gave him the wrong one )

Got grant - may 19th

I have been trying since few days.. it says * service temporarily not available* is it same for everyone ?

Can someone plz share the link which is working..

Yeah now we have to wait 4 years after getting PR before we can apply for citizenship

How stupid is this...

After waiting all these years.. now wait an other 4yrs...

And the worst part is the English language requirement again... It can be ielts or something else... Arghhh

What all documents do we have to submit if a baby is born here in australia during the 887 application processing period...

So far to my knowledge...

Birth certificate

Passport

Consent form

Anything else ???

Please help me out

Is your baby born here in Australia or your home country ??

Guys I know pcc is valid for 12 months..

I got pcc for other purpose before lodging the application... As it was valid then I submitted the same for the application...

Now by the decision making time the pcc got expired.., so requesting an other one..

Whatever... I still have to wait.. until the pcc comes and the case officer grants the visa

Has the CO given 28 days again to submit the certificate?

No he didn't mention any timeframe... He just requested the doc... And said until the document is submitted the status of the application can't be made

I should have got the grant today just like goldfox as we both got requested for docs on the same day...

Unfortunately my Australian police clearance certificate which I submitted to case officer expired.. so he requested the same document again for me and my spouse asking for the new police clearance certificate.. i got the mail today... So I have to submitt that now.. and wait for few more days for the result...

CO allocated on 30-11-2016

 

Granted on 21-03-2017 (same CO)

I got my visa today.

 

Applied : 05 September 2016

Docs requested : 28 November 2016

Docs submitted : 1 Feb 2017 (took 2 months because i had to get a a police clearance certificate from Sri Lanka)

Visa grant : 16 March 2017

Congratulations...

6monthsand4days

applied on 11th sep

co allocated 6th dec

granted on 15th march 2017

Good morning guys. I went through the immigration website and this is what is says>>> 887 Skilled Regional visa can take 7 - 10 months and to our bad luck it was updated on 14 march. Kind of frustrated how they change somethings so suddenly

Just bcoz they are unable to deal the applications faster... They have changed the timeframe, how stupid is this...

7 to 10 months is way to long...

Now all those who waited for 6mnths.., dnt know how many more days to wait.. !?

Hi guys just a quick query i am thinking to send and email( adelaide team) and To fill complaint to immigration for the delay of my file as i completed my 6 months and 6days but one of my friend suggested me it will be better if my migration agent can send an email on behalf of me but i think my agent will not send as he always ask me to call immi department so what do you guys suggest is it ok if i do by my self .

I think it's better if your migration agent does it... As you have given him all the authority to deal with your case...

It's just my feeling though... U should decide

Hi all, just a quick question. Are we all in Team 10? Got info that the team numbers is affected by background check. Examples team anyone on Team 1 is their anything like that is likely to get grant immediately cos he/she is considered low risk. As the team number increases the level of background checks also increases once its crosses team 10 the rate of checking could get upto a year. Please anyone will better information can add to this. Thanks

Hi all I just wanted to let you all know about something. If you have traveled out of Australia during your 2 years stay it's all right you don't have to delay your application. I arrived in Australia 18/12/14. I went for holidays from 20/10/2016 to 20/12/2016. And submitted my 887 application 24/12/2016 and got grant today 09/03/2017. So plz don't delay your applications if you have been out of Australia for lees than 3months ITS ALL GOOD.
