Hi all,
Since 2006 I have been living in Australia.
I have lodge 887 visa on 07/11/2017. Waiting time is killing. My auntie is so sick in India but, At this last moment I can not or I do not want to take risk to go to India either. There are so many jobs I can not apply due to by book I haven't got PR yet. In some jobs They do not consider bridging visa or 489 visa, EMPLOYER want PR by book.
So, many applicants wants to visit their home country, someone is sick overseas, some wants to start their own business, some have baby planning, some are waiting to get married due to final PR outcome. ALL DECISIONS & PLANNING ARE PENDING DUE TO BECAUSE OF THIS BULLSHIT WAITING PERIOD. We have all done hard work here, paid tax & paid professional visa fees for applications. we are not asking immigration to process our files in free. we have paid full fees as well . There must have some particular time frame to receive outcome.
Being honest, there are so many planing & important decision pending due to this PR.
C/O needs to process all files little quickly.
I can completely understand your situation mate. Same thing in my life as well. Holding lots of major decisions due to PR. Sometimes it's hard to tolerate all these. But it's last moment now. So, let insist ourselves to be patient for another week. We'all definitely get good news by next Friday. I should hear something after you as I applied on 8th November.

Anyone got grants today? Please update us.

Cool. I'll request a letter from my agent then
Yes. That's good for your safe side ?

If I get a letter from the agent, will that be enough?
I think that's enough as you have already completed two years residence.

Hey guys,
I have a question. Could anyone clarify this for me? To prove my 2 years residency, I submitted my tenancy agreement which is initial agreement just for one year from Jan 2016 to Jan 2017. After that agent didn't renew the agreement but according to a closure in that I went with a month to month tenancy. I uploaded tenancy agreement which included that closure saying "If the agreement does not end by either party, the agreement will continue as a month to month basis".
What you guys think. Should I request a letter from my agent to prove I had 2 years tenancy in the same place?
BTW, I already uploaded utility bills to prove by the residency of the same address.
Hi mate, I had the same problem. Within second year, I told my agent that I need a tenancy extension agreement for 2nd year. So, we signed tenancy extension agreement for second year.

Hi Russki, I know you have patience than most of us in this forum. As none of us can't go beyond COs, we have to give them what they ask. I am pretty sure that you will find a way to figure out their requirements eventually. You will be rewarded with 887 grant through your utmost efforts and long term patience. I wish you all the best.

I think that you don't need to apply for new AFP as it's dated on lodgement date. You should be fine ?

Hi guys,
I have applied for 887 on 13th December. And I have attached AFP, which was applied on 20th November i.e. before lodgement. What do you gys recommend? Should I again apply and upload ? or it should be OK?Thanks inadvance
For your safe side I reckon you to apply again.

According to immigration rules & regulation which is clearly mentioned on immigration website as well that
'' AFP IS VALID FOR 1 YEAR. So, no need to worry.''
They mentioned like that. But have you seen that one of our forum members has been asked for new AFP even she got it before 45 days of her lodgement date?

AFP is from november 2017
If the AFP dated before 1/11/2017, it's better to apply for a new AFP and upload it. Otherwise CO will ask again and you will have to wait another month. We have noticed that COs ask same thing again and again from our members last month

Thank You.
Did you apply a new AFP? Or did you upload your old AFP which dated before 1/11/2017?
CO may ask for AFP if it's dated before your lodgement date.

Hi guys, Now they are opening November files. One member who applied on 3rd November has got a direct grant. CO asked for AFP from Raesha who applied on 1st November.
At least now we can happy as they are moving forward day by day slowly

I have applied 1st November Co asked me for AFP 10th April and I have submitted yesterday anyone knows how long they will take now.
Thanks In Advance Guys.
Hi, according to the records of forum members, normally it takes 3-4 weeks to reopen your file. So, you have to wait again. Who's your CO?

Good morning all,
I have applied on 07/11/2017.
Last two days, it was bit quite. It seems very very few people granted visa in last two days.
Apart from only one applicant who applied on 03/11/2017, only he was lucky & granted visa.
The rest of the all NOVEMBER applicants still waiting.
Be positive, Today & tomorrow can bring some more grants & as well as NEW files open for November applicants.
Keep update if C/O assigned for your file.
I applied on 8/11/2017. I should receive some good news after you. Waiting

Seems only one CO is working at the moment

This waiting is slowly killing us. I too feel that they intentionally delay the whole process ☹️
