I would love to do a house and land package but the thing that worrys me is that I've read that you have to pay the mortgage as soon as they start building which might be a bit of a stretch while paying rent as well! Hi all I've been looking at lots of different websites trying to find out whether or not I can purchase a newly constructed house already finished being built or do I just have to go for a house and land package? Going for a house and land package seems like it could be a lengthy experience and also the price might change quite a lot of times. Thanks for any answers in advance

Hi Paula, I have just counted the days and it is 49 until we go!!! I'm getting very nervous now! I know how you feel with your parents mine are terrible about it still, the only time they talk about it is to interogate me. My boyfriends parents are the complete opposite really excited about the whole thing for us. Anyway we have to think about ourselves and we can't wait!! Although i don't know where we are stopping at the moment! We are having a couple of weeks in Thailand before we get there to chill out. Do you know where you are stopping when you first arrive? Hi all Does anybody have any advice on where to stay when we first arrive? (We are arriving in May) Everything that i look at seems so expensive! Should we look at serviced apartments or fully furnished rentals? Im not too keen on going into hostels, been there done that scene!! Any advice on what you did would be great. Hi all, Ive been pondering this question for a while now. We have not got a date to fly out yet because we are still trying to sell our house. After reading lots of different posts i'm seriously worried about whether we are going to be able to get jobs. I'm a hairdresser (but would like to try something different!!) and my partner is in logistics/horticultur/irrigation. I'm even thinking about going to a different state just incase. Hi all Just to say that we got our visa's granted on thursday (been celebrating since!) and we are over the moon!! Its been the longest journey ever, but we got there eventually. Now we have to sell our house and i'm not looking forward to that much!!

Hi all When i filled out my 175 visa (which was about 2 years ago!) I didnt say yes to any convictions because I thought that a caution was different. I have now asked my agent and she has said that they might show up and if they do we just send an apology with the police checks. She doesnt seem too bothered about it. Has this happened to anyone else? Do cautions normally show up? Thanks for any advice Emma:policeman:
