Uk Phones

Hi All

 

Does anyone know if UK phones work over here in Adelaide, the reason I am asking we have moved into a rental and managed to get the phone line sorted. There is a phone in the rental that works fine, but we brought with us 2 cordless BT phones, now the connections look fine but when I plug them in they don’t ring and they won’t call out.

 

Any Ideas ??????

Hi Rob,

 

Have you contacted telstra and asked if they could unlock it for you. I haven't tried it myself but you could give it a shot!

We brought our BT cordless (3 piece) phone over and it didn't work, we had to buy new ones. We will be selling them in 3 weeks if you find you need them. They are Panasonic KX-TG1813ALS one mains phone and two extensions. We paid $93 from The Good Guys and will be selling them for $40.

The 2 extensions, do they need to be pluuded into a phone socket or can they be just plugged into the mains.

Only the main set needs to be plugged into the phone socket, the other two are plugged into an electric socket.
