Hi, We have secured a rental in Hallett Cove from 7th Dec but would like to get our girls in school a bit earlier so they can make some friends. (y9 break up on 9th) Does anyone know of somewhere we could rent for a week, anything would do (prefereably not too expensive!), just so we could move into the area a little earlier. Thanks Jane

I think that all of the short term rentals would be full by now (and don't think that a minimum of a week is allowable), so you could try here http://www.woodcroftpark.com.au/ might be something there for you.

There is also a Caravan park at Kingston Park/Brighton

That does seem early to break up mind. Maybe just send the girls to school with an invite with a play date invite down the beach or at a reserve? Might be a bit awkward at first but if they want friends for the holidays you can only try.

Good luck

Have you contacted the school direct,,, we where renting in woodcroft,,, but had secured a long term rental in hallett cove (they will wanted to see you rental agreement so the can confirm you are in the catchment area). But Andrew one of the school intake councilors suggested them to start straight away before we had moved to hallett cove.... I would ring them or email them,,, good luck x jules x

Thanks for all your ideas, much appreciated. As we are staying in North Haven at the moment its a bit too far to bring the kids every day until we move in but reckon the caravan park could be plan. like a mini holiday.

Were transporting our children at the moment from Reynella to Port Noarlunga & Christies gets a bit more complex soon with me having to be at flinders for 08.30, Adam at Christies for 08.30 & Ethan at Port Noarlunga for 08.45, sure it will all work out :err:.
