Just got our container today!!!!

Blimey what a crazy day. Trying to fit all our stuff in our little rental, bloomin nightmare! Why did we bring so much crap and why did'nt we rent a bigger house. Oh well, it's what we call home now and is starting to feel that way thanks to all our junk. Ive got a few questions though before we start changing all the plugs...Should our UK freeview boxes work, also what do we need to buy to connect our tv to foxtel socket and will our UK phones work if we change plugs and phone connection. Thanks muchly x

One of the reasons why i am just shipping boxes. We are only sending 15 boxes and im sure half of those i could do without. We had a few really good clearouts otherwise it would have been the full container for us to even though we could not take the white goods as they were all built in and stayed with the house.

 

Not sure about the set top box and phones, they never made the clear outs. Look on the bright side though, you will have plenty of spare things to sell to fools like us who will be living of the floor for a while

The freeview boxes won't work. You need the Aussie equivalent. And apparently some phones will work if adaptor etc changed over but they are not legal to use. Although who will know other than the odd engineer I don't know. Might be easier to buy new ones in that department.
