mechanic needs advice

hi im moving my family to Adelaide in 12-18 months and would appreciate any advice as im a hgv mechanic with 15 years in this line of work and also a class 1 driving licence, also would this licence be valid in oz plus whats the average wage?

Hi Dave, I'm not there till the end of may but I'm a hgv mechanic,I would say compared to the building trade things seem fairly busy at the moment.I've been offered 2 jobs at main dealer's with the hourly rate around $27 an hour ,you would have to retake your hgv licence ,but your car and motorbike licence ,seem to just be down to filling out some forms ,as every part of this visa job is.

 

Mining seem's to be were the money is but I don't know anything about that and don't fancy it myself.

It would seem a lot of the main dealer's and trucking firms are in and around wingfeild,I hope this help's a bit.

 

I've learn't from reading other people's coment's ,any job is better than spending your saving's.
