Tracking your container...

As we have been camping in our new rental for several weeks now, we have started getting a bit twitchy as to where our container is. We have found the following to track the container:

If you have your container number, this tells you what boat your container is on http://wheremy.com/container-tracking/

If you know the ship you can check where it is on http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/default.aspx?oldmmsi=357506000&zoom=10&olddate=lastknown or http://www.vesselfinder.com/

To calculate the time from port to port http://sea-distances.com/

Any better links would be gratefully received.

We tracked our container on the OOCL site and followed the ship on the marinetraffic site like you.

Have you got much longer to wait for your things to arrive?

We were e-mailed updates on where our container was

They packed us up on 26/27 July and they have estimated arrival of 13 Oct. the container is near Madagasca, so I am not hopeful for the 13th. The 13th October is exactly 12 weeks, which we were told would be the longest delivery time

 

We are longing for our beds and our freezer, my oldest wants his cupboards so his undies are in his room. Funny the things you miss.
