Hi

 

been looking at cars for sale on e-bay Australia. In the ads they mention the word 'rego' (as in the car either has it or not, as the case may be). Is Rego, MOT? What does a car driver need to be legal on the road after insurance?

MOT? Whats that!:biglaugh:

Rego is the eqyuivilant of road tax, with it you get third party body damage insurance, this is all you legally need to drive the car, Please remember that the third party cover you get with it does not cover damamge to the car you may hit, just the HUMAN body inside it! You can take out separate insurance if you like, its not a legal requirment.
