Editing EOI

I received an invitation for 190 on 15 th Nov 2012. But I am unable to apply for the visa before it gets expired on 15 th of Jan 2013 as I could not get the required 60 points. now I have to edit my EOI after only the invitation gets expired. My question is, will I get enough time to edit my EOI after the expiry of the invitation or straightaway, automatically will there be a new invitation generation after the above date.

 

If anybody has come across such a situation or could advise me on this, please help!. Highly appreciate your advice.

How did you receive an invitation without having the minimum qualifying points score?

Originally I had claimed 15 points for employment in the EOI. But Later on I was advised by my agent that I would get only 10 points for skill employment although I have 10 years work experience.Because pre qualifying work experience will be substitute for gaining the skilled level required for my occupation as per the new DIAC guidelines. Consequently, I'm getting 55 points and trying to change the SS to 489 to get the extra 5 points.

If you are represented by a RMA, you should be OK.

 

Note that if the DIAC assessment of points is less then was claimed on the EoI the visa will be refused, even if the assessed points meets the qualifying score.

 

There is NO margin for error.

Ya, He's a MARA registered agent.

My concern is that, whether there will be enough gap to edit my details in EOI, before the second invitation get generated automatically.
