Do you really need to contact the Inland Revenue & DVLA to let them know you are leaving the country.

There is a form to fill out from Inland Revenue which I think you can download - http://search2.hmrc.gov.uk/kbroker/hmrc/forms/viewform.jsp?formId=766

 

We just changed our driving licence address to c/o one of our parents.

 

If you have kids you need to let the Tax Credit/Family Allowance people know.

let inland rev know as you can claim a refund on your tax paid for this financial year, also tax creds child benefit etc:)

:)Letting the Tax people is a must especially for the self employed , not so sure about the DVLA, all you will need is your old driving license out here. Cheers Graham
