i will be arriving with girlfriend towards the end of October and im looking for a good short stay 1 bedroom apartment, PLEASE HELP the more options the better

We stayed in a small bedsit in Marino which was ideal for us short term, was close to most things and on the trainline to city!

How long does it take from the flat to the CBD? Also what the local area like?

Hi there,

Have you tried looking on www.gumtree.com.au

 

I can recommend the Marino bedsit too. You are a 5 min walk from Marino railway station. The train will take you 30 mins to get to the CBD.

The bedsit is in a residential area. If you don't have transport it will take you 20 to 25 mins to walk to Seacliff where the nearest cafe/bar/restaurant is but there is Marino cafe/restaurant about 15 min walk away heading towards the ocean but opening times vary.

But with a train line virtually outside your door, you can hop on it and go to the likes of Brighton/Hove for food shops.
