To Any expats out there who want to join a local amateur football team.

I am a member of a good standard Adelaide soccer club, we play in the Saturday premier Amateur league, train tuesday & thursday evenings.

We are a mixture of English,Scottish, Irish & Aussies, a friendly club and play in the Western suburbs not too far from Grange/Henley Beach

Its a great way to meet new people ages from 18-40, a family club with wifes/girlfriends/kids come to games to support/bbq and a few beers.

anyone interested let me know and I can pass over details.

thanks

What standard is this? I'm a 28 (status changes in a fortnight!) that has just arrived in adelaide and don't know anyone so would like to join a club to try get to know a few that can socialise with. I'm an Irish guy that works as a lecturer, likes a few drinks and am keen on sports. Have played soccer but wouldn't classify myself as of a very high standard. The teams I've played with have typically been a kickabout once a week and game at weekend rather than training properly twice a week.

Cheers for message Simon, I'll try pop down tomorrow evening for a look. Slight injury to back at moment so won't train but will see if I feel I am up to the level!

I'm interested (played a lot a couple of years ago). I had to stop playing a few years ago due to a back injury. I'm running again now in club and would be interested in training with you. I'm a bit Paul McGrath these days but would gladly play...When does the season start and can I come down on a Thursday??

Hi everyone :)

My partner Steven LOVES football and he has really missed it since we arrived here. We live in the city and don't have a car, so I was wondering if there is any footy within the city or on the city fringe??

Thanks - Fiona
