GRANT!!! We received our grant today!! Timeline as below: Applied 28/1/2020. First contact: 28/7/2020. CO Andries. Asked for AFP including father's name in the middle since the PCC from UAE showed that too. GRANT: 31/8/2020 by CO Wendy

I have just been asked by CO Andries for a new AFP showing my married name in addition to my maiden name! Does anyone know how I can enter this on the online form of the AFP website? There is only 1 box for first name, 1 box for last name and 1 box for other given name. Nowhere to enter other last name.

someone deleted the 3 grants in the tracker of people that had applied in May 2020. Does anyone know anything about this?

Yeah exactly. I had edit access on the tracker too and someone removed it. Then i got it back when I contacted the admin. some people are playing around with the data on the tracker I guess.

There is someone on the tracker that shows they applied on 23/5/2020 and got contacted on 25/5/20 then visa granted in June 2020. This is impossible and must be an incorrect entry. Date of application is definitely wrong.

I don’t think it was edited. Someone sorted it by grant date instead of application date. All you need to do is sort it by application date.

This is total BS! If you have already supplied work reference, pay slips, Australian Tax Office Notices of Assessment and superannuation statements, then why do they ask for more?

I had exactly the same problem with ielts when I was applying for me 489. Applied 3 times and I was always off by 0.5 is a different band. I needed 8 in each of them to get superior English for my high points application. Eventually I went with PTE Academic and aced it!! I got 90 in all bands. So people should forget abt ielts as it is purely a money making business as you said. PTE Academic is a much more honest system. I have booked a PTE test for myself end of this month to be able to submit a new one for my 887 (despite that it is not needed for primary applicant). I don’t want to take the risk that a CO decides to ask for a new one and not get a direct grant.

The same thing happened with someone else before so he resent the letter to them saying “I am complaining” instead of “requesting” and they accepted it and looked into his request.

May I ask what did you submit regarding the further detail around business travel? I traveled a lot for business too. So I’m wondering if I should submit sthg to preempt the question.

I have travelled a lot for business too. Can you pls provide details on what additional information you gave (or will give) them? What are they asking for? Have you travelled domestically or internationally?
