Hi guys we play all over, mt compass, McCracken, thaxted, mt barker, and we all live, all over the place. If between now and the arrival of your container, your itching just let us know, we will sort some clubs out. Quick story for you! I had waited 18 weeks for my container which had my golf clubs on it, which were made for my swing, loft and lie, plus I loved my driver and steelhead 3 and 5 wood. They arrived I was so excited we got everything off the delivery. I hugged my clubs and clicked to close the garage door. We went in a had a few celebratory beers. Just before be I notice a light on in the garage. I had not closed the garage door but opened the other one. My clubs along with other items had gone! I was gutted!!!!! So if I could come over again I would have flown with them LOL

Hi fella. I started a regular weekly golf site on Facebook. It's called Adelaide Golflovers. We go and play a round once a week. We have a around 20 guys who are on the site but normally get between 4 to 8 players. If you don't have a FB you can use a fam members. I set up the golf venue every week. It's casual and you just join the event if you want to go. There's lads from all over. It's just a bit a fun but we post Stableford scores on it every week. Some play off 6 up to 28. So if you fancy it just add yourself p. You can post if you want a midweek game as well and some lads would play Regards Richard

We are on a 457 and it was always our intention to stay and have been getting the LAFHA since we got here. Hubby didn't work for the company in England either. I suppose it depends on your employer. My hubby's company were the ones who informed us about it. I do know though that once you start the process for PR it stops.

We bank with HSBC and did so in the UK. We get free banking and no annual fees on credit cards. We can use Westpac and Bank SA cash machines and dont get charged the atm fee. The only downside is if we need to pay a chq into our account the only branch in Adelaide is based in the CBD, but that doesnt happen that often. Hope this helps Jo

I felt like that last year for our first christmas. I feel a bit more christmassy this year. Its what you make of it. Ive decided that instead of thinking about what we would normally do, we are going to start new traditions. Putting up the christmas tree early definately helps.

Hi This is Richard from the Henderson's09. As my wife said we play either on sat or sun I send a text out mid week its only friendly game of golf no comps, no commitment, just a larf. I have a list of guys in my fone so if you want me to add you please PM me with your number, I normally book two slots, 1 for sat and 1 for Sun. the guys normally text back saying which they would prefere and I just tell them who to get in touch with. I do like to take the p a bit and normally do I am not bias though I will rip the p out of my self. We are a mixture of mid to high HC. My hubby plays golf and got some lads together from PIA a few months ago. A few of them play on a Sat and others on a Sunday and they go to a few golf clubs around Adelaide. If your interested PM us your mobile and I'll get him to give you a buzz Jo

Hi We are currently renting in Seaview Downs and love the area. We pay $350 per week for a 3 bed, 2 bathroom, with lounge, family room and big garden. We are lucky to have views of the sea and city. The area is quiet and hilly. My eldest goes to Seaview high, which in my opinion is a good school, my 10 year old goes to Darlington primary ( is settled there and has a good freind base so didnt want to move him) but my 4 year old will go to Seaview Downs as he currently goes to their kindy. Theres a local bus service and the train stations are about 5 mins away in the car and 20 min walk. We have local shops too, Foodland, post office, chemists etc. The Westfield Marion is close by too. There are local parks and also the beach is only a 5 min drive away. We previously lived in Seacombe Gardens and for me I prefer this side of Seacombe road. Hope this helps Jo
