  5. Hi All, I have one question. I have applied for 887 visa 2 months ago. In the application form, I have mentioned to my parents and my siblings in the application (as non migrating members). Now, in the online Lodgement webpage and also in the acknowledge letter I have got myself as the main applicant, my wife as a second applicant but my parents and my siblings' name also appear as non migrating members. Do I need to fill in form 1023? Thanks. Best, Sam
  6. Hi, Thank you so much for your kind reply. Is there anybody here (any exception) whose CO has asked PCC while he (or she) hasn't gone back to his country?
  7. Hi, I had submitted PCC from my own country 11 months before coming to Australia. After that, during the whole time I have been in Australia without one day living here. I wanted to know that whether CO will ask me PCC (from my own country). Is there anybody who has similar experience? Thanks. Regards, Sam
  8. Hi, I have one question about proving functional English for second applicant. Is certificate 3 in spoken and written English, issued by TAFE, acceptable? Thanks. Best, Sam
  9. Hi, Do you know that how many payslips are required to be uploaded? I mean 50, 52 or less? Can we upload bank statements instead?
  10. Hi, I don't have any update. I just have lodged and waiting for CO.
  11. Hi, I applied for 887 visa and I received two bridging visa for me and my wife. In my wife's bridging visa there is a mistake on the first page about her current resident address. She is in Australia while this address shows her 10 years ago resident address. There is no mistake from our side and it seems that auto-generated letter has done a mistake. Can you help me that is it required to inform department of immigration about it? How? Can we apply for medicare by this letter?
  12. Hi all, I stayed during 2 weeks at hostel when I arrived in Australia. I have been in the regional area from the first day until now. I want to know that whether email of booking hostel for my first 2 weeks is acceptable or you think it would be better that I apply 2 weeks later? Thanks. Best, Sam
  13. Hi NemathMatt, Do you know that with which visa they are in Australia now? I have heard similar condition for 189 visa.
  14. Hi ZarahK, Thanks. We will apply on the mid of July. Good Luck
  15. Hi ZarahK, Obviously, they have written this law (someone in Immi) but the case officers are important. For instance, according to this law, if a new baby comes few months before lodging, the whole family should stay 2 years more (a bug). As I know, before there was no law about second applicant as this document checklist shows and lawyer confirms it: https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/887-/Skilled-Regional-visa-(subclass-887)-document-checklist In residence requirement, it says: Evidence that you have lived in a specified regional area for at least two years as the holder of an eligible visa prior to lodging this application. Evidence that each dependent who is also an applicant for this visa has complied with the conditions attached to their visa while in Australia. It doesn't say that second also should stay 2 years. BTW, when can you apply for 887 visa? Do you know that what happen if our 887 visa refuse? Do we back to 489 visa? Would you please give me the contact number of Immi? Thanks.
  16. Hi guys, I have asked from a lawyer and he checked the laws. He believes that you don't need to be worry because no change has happened in the law (for case officers) and it is possible to be an error in the website update which has happened several times before. BTW, I would appreciate if any of you get more information, share with us. Thanks.

  18. Hi, You are right, it is a new requirement. Unfortunately, I can't apply for my wife. She came to Australia 11 months later than me. Is it possible that I apply for PR and then apply for partner visa (as I know it has a long processing time) for her? Is there any other options for us now? Since, all of the laws are against us, I am afraid of not applying now.
  19. Hi, I have 489 visa and I want to apply for 887 visa soon. I have 2 questions as follows: 1- For character requirements (police certificates) from the country I had lived before, I need an official letter from the immigration stating my name and their reference number. I am searching for the way to get it before applying. Can you help me? Is there any way to get this letter before login? 2- Is it possible that we apply few days earlier. For instance, I mean if we satisfy the requirements of our visa (2 years living and 1 year working) on 1 June, can we apply 2 weeks earlier? Because, it usually take more than 2 months that case officer investigate our documents.
