  1. Hi Russki, maybe they changed the way they do things, but when i attended there was both the Sa migration team and COs from Dipb and the subject was mainly on fulfilling conditions on 489 and the process for 887 visa. Your time to to attend might have elapsed, but you can just try. http://www.migration.sa.gov.au/support-services/welcome-to-sa-information-session
  2. Don't worry guys, everything will turn out to be just fine at the end, i mean the process cannot run forever. On another note i remember when i went to an information session for people sponsored by SA where the talked about 489 visa and there were two 887 COs and you could ask them any Question one on one after the presentation, i don't know if they still answer questions one on one nowadays, but hey it is worth a try if your time to register has not elapsed.
  3. Hi Guys, it is only the primary applicant who has to fulfill the living and working requirements, so your spouse can be living in another country but has to be in Australia at the time of application and grant. Having said that, i believe that if your spouse is living in Australia, then they have to live in regional or designated area depending on the type of visa or they would be in breach of the visa condition 8539 for regional area visa or condition 8549 for designated area visa.
  4. That quote is from the new version, here is the link https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2018C00245
  5. So sorry to hear that you have to jump through a lot of hoops Russki, but don't worry it won't take for ever because everything "that has a beginning also has an end too". This reminds me of the forum member whom i believe fortunately made the 887 spreadsheet that members are currently using, it took longer for her to get a grant but eventually she got it. So if you can be able to provide them whatever they want, everything will turn out to be just fine in the end. Best of luck
  6. You can create your own immiaccount and then import your application, that way you'll know which documents were uploaded and when, you'll also be able to update them on anything you want.
  7. Oh thats okay, although i was on opinion that once your get 887 your 489 ceases ,although again i maybe wrong.I am still a little bit curious though, could you ask Sundhar to check in VEVO after getting 887 if his child is still on 489.
  8. Just another thought what if she becomes unlawful after 489 visa term lapses?.Sorry i have to put myself in your shoes.
  9. I am sorry mate, but the answer is right there ,"acknowledgment letter her name written as a non migrating members". This is just my thinking but i might be wrong, i think your case might the same as Sundhar which means you might be granted 887 and she might not, in that case then you'll have to apply for subclass 802 or 101for her which might take more time to get and cost you 2415$,and that's after you're granted your PR. I am not an expert, but my opinion is if this was me i would just withdraw the application and re-apply immediately, Again i state this is just my opinion as i am not an expert. Forgive me for my harsh opinion, I hope everything works fine in the end.
  10. You can go for TOEFL iBT it is internet based or pay second installment if you don't get the required score.
  11. Nothing lasts forever Russki,so every minute that goes by count yourself closer to a grant.
  12. True, although you know that eventually you'll get the grant, it is the waiting period that is unbearable, but your time will come.Good luck to you all.
