Hey guys, Go contacted for the first time today by the case owner (Applied 16th of Aug). He/She requested a new AFP NPC that has the same exact name as my passport. It was my mistake at the first place to fill the form wrongly (Putting a shortened family name). Now i have submitted a new AFP NPC form, and hopefully i get it in a week. Then i will upload it and wait.

Hey guys, I submitted the application now 'Pressed Submit, and paid the fees', but i cant upload or attach any documents. Cant find the Link/Button to press. I want to attach all my documents, Residence Evidence, Work Evidence, Police Clearance, Forms... ETC. On my account is says: ''This applicant is not required to provide any evidence at this stage based on the information provided within the application. However, the department may request further information from this applicant at a later date'' But i havent actually updated a single document. What will happen next? Should i wait for them to open the attachment links for me? Or i should find the attachments links/buttons myself. Thanks guys

Hey mate, As far as i know, any duration more than 3 weeks spent overseas will be deducted from your required stay here. So i am afraid that the case owner may ask you to wait for 3 more months (after completing the 2 years), to meet the requirements. As both your trips were more than 3 weeks each. Good luck. I will be applying in 10 days by the way. Cheers

Hey guys, concerning the family members part in the application. What should i do in my case, i am single and have no kids. My parents live in my home country, but at one point i want them to be able to move to Australia, or at least make it easy for them to visit if they decide it. As far as i understand, Australia is not like the US, where you can issue a Green Card to you parents once you become a citizen. So while filling the application, should i mention their names as Migrating or Non Migrating family members? Thanks a lot

You didnt sumbit Australian Federal Police Clearance??

Any duration overseas that is longer than 3 weeks per year will be counted. This means, you can apply for 887 in 2 months from today. (Considering the 2 months from the first year, and ignoring the 3 months of this year). Cheers

Thanks Razor, When did you submit your application? It is really confusing, cause i heard of some cases who needed overseas Police clearance, and others who got their PR with only the AFP

Hey guys, Just a quick question, did anyone here get his 887 with only providing AFP clearance? Or its a mandatory to provide a Police clearance from our home countries too. For example, i havent been to my home country since i arrived to Australia 2 years ago. Do i still have to provide a police clearance certificate from my home country while applying for the 887?
