Thanks Russki.....sorry I am not very regular in the forum so it is a late reply. Good news from us is, we have got our PR today. I complained on wednesday, they replied me a typical email on Thursday and today Friday I have got the golden email. My timeline is.... Applied on 14.10.2017 Asked for new borns birth certificate and passport on 14.03.2018. Asked for paper based medical by GP for the new born on 06th June 2018. Again asked for formal medical on 27th Jul 2018. Medical cleared on 4th October. Complained on 24th october and got PR on 26th. I wish all the never ending waiting come to an end for you I really have only on thing to say "God please be kind for @Russki.

I understand that mate. I want to submit the document just to give hundred percent from my side so that I may not have to submit it later on and keep waiting for another 2.5 months.

Thanks @Anonymous2017. Can you please tell me if it is the old photo used for the passport purpose or a new one should be attached with the declaration?

Actually after submitting 'Paper Based Medical" they asked for "Immigration Health examination" by the approved immigration medical health services provider. I already submitted the latter one too. But now I think I should submit the Statutory Declaration as well. I am confused about the photo. SHOULD I ATTACH A RECENT PHOTO OF THE BABY WITH THE DECLARATION? OR THE OLD PHOTO USED IN THE PASSPORT OF THE BABY? If anyone let me know that will be a great help. Especially looking suggestion from @Tpsk @Anonymous2017 @Russki Thanks.

Hi HSK, My case is almost similar to you. Applied on 14th October and the third contact with me was on 6th June by Adam. Thinking to give them a call.....do you know to which number should I call them?

Hi Su89, The present rule is if the neither of the parents is a permanent resident of Australia then the baby will get the parents' visa. So I think when I will upload the docs they will first issue 489 visa for my newborn then 887 visa. But if any of the parents are Australian Permanent resident then the baby will be a citizen of Australia straightway.

Yes, I am trying to......Did not expect they will take more than 5 weeks to process a baby's birth certificate born in Australia.

Dear All, I applied on 14th of October and CO emailed me today asking for newborn's Birth Certificate (applied for Australian one) and Passport. They asked to provide the docs within 28 days but it may take more time to get the Passport since Birth Certificate not ready yet. Any suggestions from anyone on the same boat?

Dear fellows, I have a question regarding new born visa. I applied for 887 in October 17, no decission yet. By this time I have been blessed with a new born in Australia. Looks it will take time to gather Bith certificate and passport of the newborn and will delay the whole process of getting visa decission. Can I choose to not add new born at bfore my visa decission? If I do so, then how shall I be able to apply for the new born and that will be what visa? Please help me if you have any information regarding this. Thanks in advance. Zubayer.

Thank you very much Russki. I wish you get your golden email soon, just after submitting the PCC. In my case, suppose if the baby comes before the grant, can we delay to update them and get our grant first. Later on after the grant can we make a seperate application for the baby? Just to avoid long processing time in inclusion of the baby (because I know it takes time to get Birth certificate from here, then from overseas and the overseas passport). Please let me know if you have any idea. Thanks again.
