Hello everyone. I got contacted by CO Adam on 19/7/18 nd asked for wife's updated AFP with maiden name. Yesterday i uploaded required document nd pressed (i confirm i have provided required information) now my status is on further assessment from intial assessment. Account also showing last updated status on 30/07/18. Hope i get my grant letter soon.

Did u also did with varitas or thru normaL AFP website??

I need little advice here. I have provided them my partner's AFP with current name (after marriage name) Now they are asking for previous name so should i start applying with previous name or With current name and mention previous name during application. Hope it makes sense ??

Trust me bro life has stopped because of visa. cant move anywhere else. Job market is really bad in adelaide. Do have some offers in melbourne but not sure if i would be able make it. Isnit should be staright forword to check 2 years residence nd 1 year employment??but they just wana make a scene of everything nd just to check those, they are taking nearly 10 months. Nd no one is there to answer.

Is that normal they have skipped from 29th of december to 4th of jan. I applied on 30th of december nd my file is still on RECEIVED status. It is really frustrating nd annoying. How can they skip between dates.

But i havnt been offshore since applied. So you think i should order another one or same should work. Plz help desperate indeed.

That's a very common mistake. U need to send them form 1023 for correction. Actually in non-accompanying family member u had to mention your kids nd wife if they aren't migrating with you. And rest of family members like parents nd siblings comes in other family members. I did the same mistake but next day i submitted form 1023 for correction. Hope i cleared your confusion.

Mate on the behalf of information from lawyer actual days in regional should not be less then 688. He also said i never had any refusal with 42 days gap. Immigration keep saying 1 month in a year is reasonable and same time they say it depends on case officer. So it's really confusing and annoying being a applicant we should have open information but unfortunately we don't have. Goodluck mate

Hi Nelakash if you go on page 596 on this forum there is one applicant nuwa. She had 680 stays in regional and she got refused. Have a look into this one. My friend you have even less then 670. Choice is all urs am just giving you my personal experience and past references.

Hello mate I was in similar situation earlier. I also applied my visa with 66 days gap. Then just to be on safer side I contacted immigration lawyer. He suggested me to withdraw my case and I did next day. U have 55 days gap which is more then normal. My lawyer sent me some rules criteria etc. it says if applicant goes away for 3 weeks each year that would not distract 2 years waiting period. But immigration keep saying 4 weeks in years is reasonable and its really confusing . He also said 42 days gap is normal but more then that can be a question mark. For that advice I paid him $200.Now u may Wana take some legal advice cz there is no point having refusal after 6 7 months. Good luck brother
