DHA will issue you 887 only when you are onshore. Let's say if you are off shore then they will wait till you come back and then will grant you 887. I will not recommend you going offshore before you get the grant.

You just have to inform immi about your new passport and they will update your new passport detail for current 489. then upload copy in 887 application as well

Application doesnt gets rejected. It is just put on hold till you come back,. The thing to be noted is that once you come it is not that you will instantly get the grant. You have to wait for "Unknow" time to get the grant once you are back

By the way I had electronically generated salary slips for every month with NO company logo. I just went to Police station along with my contract and police officer certified all 24 months copies. He went crazy doing all those though. I could read his mind saying that please dont come again with these many docs to be certified ha ha

I want clarification on this FTB A or B. What exactly is this FTB. I mean I started the process of claim in centrelink website and it looks like you get this FTB when you are not working and taking care of children sitting at home. Am I correct here ? Or is it something different. I am married, have kids and am on rental property. Kids goto school. I do permanent job and wife does casual work. Should we be claiming (or are we even eligible looking at the circumstances as above) By the way when I went to centrelink that lady told me I am eligible and created my account and then now I have one claim sitting in my centrelink account (I have to fill the details yet in that) Asking all this as I want to make sure that whatever I am doing is correct and not illegal

goto messages section and check messages and you should be able to find the name of CO
