Thank you. We called immi on 131881. The automated machine says that if your application is within the processing times don't bother waiting. We called a few months back and they ignore us. However this time was different.

Finally granted!!!!!!! Thank you Group, thank you IMMI!!!!!! We can now move on. 27th July 2017 Applied for 887 visa 25th Jan Co asked PCC for 16yo daughter ! 5th Feb Provided PCC to Immi 14th March Emailed them to let them know i was out of the country for a week 21st March Pre grant notification - They asked why we didn't let them know of my travel plans.!! Requested a call back from them today as we were worried they would not look at it again for some time. They called back, we explained the position and they promised to pick up the file today. Said they had a "huge backlog" on emails hence did not see ours of 14th. Just received through the grant of the 887!!! Very happy indeed! The call back service was very friendly and helpful.

Thanks! thats correct. I applied in the 27 July and on the 25th Jan they asked for my eldest daughter's AFP. No newborn. When we applied in July my daughter was 16yo but when they picked up the file in January she was 17yo. We submitted the Afp a week later and took almost 2 months to get back.

Thank Russki, I got back today, I missed them by 1 day :_( Yes, we emailed them again yesterday and also attached to the application the email with travel dates we sent them last week.

GRRRR After waiting since July 2017 for a grant we received a pre-grant notification letter yesterday asking to let them know when I'm coming back. As advised on here, we emailed adelaide team last week to let them know about my travelling plans but all we received was an automated email. Do they read this emails? I arrived to Australia today. We emailed them again but i fear it will be another few months until they pick up my file again or read the email. ps first co was DAT, second Sophorn. I wish they have direct email addresses.

Last time they updated the visa 887 Processing time to 8-10 month was on the 16th Feb, is it done monthly? will it be updated tomorrow? i hope it goes down

Thanks Russki! My husband just called IMMI but he is 115th on the queue LEGIT so he will email them instead. I know, we are expecting a grant very soon, this trip was booked ages ago, i didnt expect this would take that long.

HI Guys! Im currently abroad until next week. I just saw this on the immi website. Im not the main applicant, do i have to let them know I am abroad? and how do we do it? I know i won't get the grant until we are all in Australia. TIA "You can travel outside Australia while your visa is being processed but you must let us know. This is because you must be in Australia when the visa is decided."

My co is Dat. My 489 visa expires in Nov, so i need to know if i have to start packing or not . We have settled nicely here, bought a house, business so I hope they get back to us quick.

The wait is killing me! Here is our timeline -We applied on the 27 July 2018 -They requested more information (AFP) on the 25th Jan -Provided AFP 5th Feb

I You can leave Australia but in order for the VISA to be granted everyone on the application has to be in Australia.
