  1. Hi, sorry for the delay. We kinda provided a huge list of documents. Some of them may not be necessary even. Identity and Relationship documents -English translated birth certificate (both) -Passport identity page and other supporting pages (Both). - Victorian driver’s licence (Both). -Affidavit for name differences.(make sure you take AFP for all those names) -English translated home country National Identity card. -English translated marriage certificate. -Savings bank account statement for joint asset ownership -Letter from Commonwealth bank confirming the joint ownership to an account we opened just after migrating. -health insurance membership card under both names. -Car insurance policy under both names (latest). Regional Residential Requirement -The release letter from the original visa issued state. -Lease agreements (Including the letter confirming our current residence at the same address from the real estate agent) and rental ledger – under main applicant’s name. -All Electricity bills for the period of 2 years and Gas bills for the same period – under joint names. -Vehicle registration certificates – under main applicant’s name. -Randomly selected internet bills from during the last two-year period – under wife’s name. -All available Bank statements covering the two-year period Work and Study Condition -Employment contract -All pay slips for the two-year period -Reference letter from human resource department. -Position description issued by the employer (I don’t think this is necessary at all) -Tax return summaries for last 2 financial years (both) along with Medicare exception certificates. -PAYG summaries from for the last 2 years. (both) -All Super statements for the two-year period -Spouse's online study documentation and her casual employment documentation Character Requirements -Police reports from home country (all new reports for both) -Australian police reports (attached receipts first, we applied for the AFP after applying for the 887 visa). Also attached the actual AFPs once they arrived (after over a weeks’ time) -Form 80 and Form 1221 for both applicants. -Updated resume of both applicants. Proving the Functional English requirement for Spouse -Letter from Spouse’s University confirming her Degree completion in English medium. -Spouse’s Degree transcript and Degree grant certificate -Spouse’s university record book (I don’t think this is necessary). Most of them are just scanned original copies (colour) but true copied some black and white docs from the nearby post office. We also included a cover letter for the case officer telling how we met the visa conditions (Attached under 'other documents' section). I suggest you add one, especially if you have a complicated case or you need some things to be clarified to the case officer. Best of luck!
  2. Thanks Russki! Wish that yours will be over soon too.
  3. Thank you ? Well, we went abroad during that time (Feb end), and case officer asked us to send the travel plans and said our application is nearing to end (it comes under the heading of Pre-grant notification). Normally people receive their grant very soon after a pre-grand and coming back to the country. But it took way longer for us.
  4. Hey guys, So we were waiting for our grant ever since the older files started opening early this week. Today I just checked our immi account and found out we have got the PR two days ago!!! Application status states as "Finalised" and also had the two correspondences for myself and my husband. But we never got any golden emails to our email hehe Hope it doesn't make it invalid. Anyway super relieved (still bit unsure though). Applied on 10 Sep 2017 Case officer assigned 14 Dec 2017 Pre-grant on 28 Feb 2018 Grant to Immi 8 May 2018 We thought we did all right just like most of us here. But we had a name issue in legal documents. Even though we provided affidavits, the case officer asked for new AFP. Please make sure all the known names (even spelling mistakes) in your documents, you provide are consistent, if not take police reports for each and every variation. Its way eaiser to get the AFP than waiting for your grant. Good luck guys! Dont forget to ckeck the immi here and there too ?
  5. First one was Adem (asked for AFP on 14 December, due to a name issue). Pre-grant was given by Dat. Hopefully, they will pick our files too.
  6. Hey mate, I also applied on the 10 Sep and even got the pre-grant 28 Feb. But still waiting. Called immigration two weeks back, asked us to wait
  7. Request a letter from your agent to prove that you are under the month to month tenancy and also if possible get a tenancy ledger, it shows that you have been paying rent for them. We did a similar thing.
  8. yea send an email too. Better to explain situation especially if you feel it will take more than 28 days to provide info. Otherwise, we will again become the bad guy. hehe. All the best. we kinda have given up on this visa hehe
  9. Yea I saw that too. We tried it but all they said us was to wait. It's really worrying sometimes Hopefully they will speed up the process.
  10. Hi Russki, Thank you and Yes, I did. Sent an email on the same day mentioning our travel plans and sent one again after coming to confirm that we have come to Australia. We came on 10 March. But still nothing.
  11. Hi guys, I have been a silent user of this blog. Applied for the visa on 10 September 2017. Pre-grant on 28 Feb 2018 and still haven't heard anything back from them A lot of decisions on hold because of this. Any idea how long it takes to receive the grant after a pre-grant? We didn't expect that it would take this long.
