  1. If Certificate 3 or 4 fulfils the following line, but i remember you've already paid AUD 3850 against English as a Second Language at the time of 489 ? ????????????????????? Completed a degree, a higher degree, a diploma or a trade certificate that required at least two years of full-time study or training in an institution in or outside Australia and all instructions were in English.
  2. Not specifically IELTS, just asked to fulfil the requirement of spouse's English proficiency and referred the link https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/about/corporate/information/faqs/how-can-i-prove-i-have-functional-english but they didn't accept the AMEP TAFE document.
  3. No worries mate, I was even surprised when they asked me to do IELTS by superseding the AMEP document. So strange!!
  4. AMEP assessment document by TAFE is not acceptable by the immigration department. I had attached the same but couldn't be considered unfortunately and then we scheduled the date for IELTS exam. It's not that difficult to hit 4.5 overall. So just do it to avoid further delays. Read the note in brackets they've clearly mentioned. An assessment of functional English from a service provider of the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) for eligible visa holders in Australia. (Note: AMEP providers do not undertake assessments of English language proficiency for purposes that are not related to participation in the AMEP).

  6. Any idea, how to pay 2nd Instalment i.e., $4895 in lieu of the Functional English?
  7. Sorry just a misunderstanding from my side ? !! IELTS requirement is for spouse too, not for me. I had uploaded her High School Certificate, High School Mark sheet and TAFE Certificate while her IELTS was submitted at the time of 489 which is invalid now.
  8. No, they didn't ask to certify any document. Just AFP and IELTS
  9. AFP requirement is fine, but i had uploaded the IELTS results.
  10. Hey Guy, Contacted by CO ADAM Applied: 30-12-2018 Requested more information, 1. Wife's AFP with all names 2. My IELTS result copy (Submitted before).
  11. You may upload the remaining documents with your dependents' application(if any) with "other documents" selection in draw down list.
  12. I understand, that's only to delay the application for another 5 to 6 weeks and nothing else. There should'nt be any reason to ask another AFP within just 28 days. So strange!!
  13. He can't ask any document that supersede their requirement's code and can be challenged. Well! that's good you've submitted but it's an extra effort.
  14. You should've been taken a screen shot/reference from their website mentioning PCC required if you've spent more than 12 months in any country. CO can't ask you any document that goes against any content mentioned over their website. The problem is, we don't argue anymore and just start to fulfil their requirement!!
  15. It's compulsory for the people belonging to the polio effected countries, I reckon.
  16. They are just compelling the people to stay in region by delaying the applications or asking additional documents etc. They can't ask any PCC where you've resided less then 12 months and it can be confirmed through their own website.
