Hi all, another quiet follower here. Four precious emails landed in my inbox just after lunch time today and status on my immi account changed to "FINALISED". Finally after spending 9.5 years in Australia we received PR. ours is a family of four including two kids 6 years and 21 months. this is a direct grant. Applied: 07/May/2018 Grant: 03/Jun/2019 CO: Manuel I have updated our overseas police clearance last Friday night, received new AFPs today and was going to upload them this evening, but received grant without new AFP!!! This is unbelievable but true. Also I have got my little one's medical done prior to I applied for 887 visa. Thank you everyone for your precious advice, direct grant was not possible without your support. You all are a bunch of legends and we all deserve a medal for our patience!!! I wish everyone very best with your grants. Cheers!!

It was approximately 2 weeks for my newborn and was issued by Melbourne authority.

HSK is right. Call Bupa to book an appointment, choose any date post 11th Nov. CO have templates and they just copy and paste it. It may not applicable to your situation. Alternatively call immigration and confirm with them for yr peace of mind.

I m on 487 family sponsored... and as per visa conditions I can live and work in designated area of Australia, therefore I have same work conditions as u, can live and work anywhere in Victoria

Hi B3st, 28 days is a time frame to respond not to submit all requested docs because it’s always not possible. Book an appointment and respond to CO ‘s email with appointment confirmation and u will be fine. Good luck

A friend of mine applied in August last year and got her PR in November, in less than three months time.... and here we are, people who have applied in January this year are still waiting!!!! and God knows how longer we have to wait. Very frustrating!!

hi all, I have a question. I have applied for 887 on 07/May/2018 and my daughter has recently got a new passport. can someone please explain how to notify immigration about this change? is it something I can do using my immi account or I have to fill out a form and submit it along with a copy of her passport? Thanks

Hey Russki, Did you have to declare all your names/spellings for your overseas police check as well? From experience on this forum, was anyone asked by CO to get a new police check from overseas to include all of their names?

Hi guys, I live here in Australia since last 10 years+ and visited back home 3 times, but haven't lived there more than 4 months cumulatively. I know, ideally I don't need overseas PCC, but what your experience says on this forum? Can CO still ask for overseas PCC? applied 887 on 07May2018. Thanks

send application through australia post. scan the receipt and email it to the CO. in your case 28 days is time to respond, not to submit requested doc as it can take longer than a month.

Hey guys, when we apply for overseas PCC, does it need to display all our previous names including alias names? or having all names declared in AFP is good enough?

its shocking. it was 9 to 11 months last week when i checked. by the time my turn comes processing time (waiting time) will b 1.5 years i guess !!!??

Hi Haitham, its all up to a CO. When I applied for my previous visa, I was contacted by 3 different COs. They all kept on asking different documents and were completely ignoring what previous CO has asked for. Don't want to scare you, but just want u to b prepared for the worst. Hopefully everything goes smoothly with you and u get a grant soon.

Hi guys, can someone please advise if a degree certificate and a letter from university stating "medium of instructions and study was English" is enough to prove spouse's functional English or do I need to submit transcripts as well? Do I require to submit my husbands work contract, payslips, PAYG etc?

Hi all, i m new to this forum. I m on 487 at the moment And applying for 887 this week. There is a question in online application about visa label in current or previous passport. I had one when I had my student visa. there was no label required since then. Can I leave this section blank?
