  1. Worse is mine coz apart from tax I also pay uni fee for my daughter equivalent to what an international student pay. $16000 per semester. Lest it would be $4000 on a PR. Coz of this delay I have to again pay....sad story....
  2. I too feel the same. So desparate. These regional areas do not have opportunities in my field, and even then we HAVE to stay here even after fullfilling our conditions successfully. Just because they delay we are trapped.
  3. I don't think so. Are you sure? Can u please direct us where in our bridging visa is this condition mentioned. Would be very helpful.
  4. @Russki how about the petition? The reason I am panicked is, the delay will cost me $1600. My daughters uni fees . If i could get the grant by March (11th month) , i wud not stop her uni again. Feels so helpless.
  5. Do u have their email address. We can either write them individually or one letter n all of us signing on it. Whichever is impactful.
  6. Letsl all from SA write our concerns pertaining to the delay. We have to do smth guys. Its high time
  7. Do anything that can help. Media, petition, complain in the website (i.spoke to immi about this and she suggested that we should complain, lets every one here do that first), write to local mp. But lets please act. If not now, this Will be a never ending problem. Its not suprising if the next update says 15 to 20 months....lets please act. I too will sign. N now am raising a complain in their website.
  8. Exactly. If thid applies for.ppl who apply from now onwards its understood, but this way its ridiculous. If such is the case they must keep us away from the conditions n make our children local students. Guys we cant just sit like this. There must be a way out. Please lets come up with sn idea to reach out immigration together.
  9. Shows the same on mine as well! But on the global processing times it shows 10 to 11 months, updated today. Can every one please check. This is ridiculous. I have been paying 16000 AUD every semester for my daughters uni fees n thought by this semester i should get my pr and be free from the high fee. But this seems like a mirage! Cant we do anything about this?
  10. In SA mate. My job contract is ending in December, and by then I wouldn't have got my PR yet(coz i applied in April 2018). So wondering if i could take a chance of moving interstate.
  11. Why is it that even after lodging 887 we still need to stay in regional areas? With no opportunities in such areas its stuffing:'-(
  12. This is scary. Would this be applicable to ppl who are waiting for their 887???
  13. Congrats! Your call to the immi has helped!
  14. Does it mean that all of us waiting for our pr will be trapped in the regional area!!!!
  15. Are we free to.move to anyother states and non regional area after applying for 887 pr?
  16. Is there anyone in this group who has an 18 year old child dependent added in their 887 application? I did fill form 80 for her, but then read somewhere that form 47A needs to be filled! Anyone who has done this, need an urgent help!
  17. Are u serious! Who paid ur finances when u were a kid, is that in ANYWAY RELATED TO THE 887 VISA CONDITIONS !!! They can ask for ANYTHING TO SCREW US UP HUH!
  18. What do the COs even need? Is asking for more information a way to buy time, or are they genuine? What does "certified copy" mean? Is there anyone who has got a direct grant? What documents should we actually upload so that they dont ask for more?
  19. Is it mandatory that the secondary applicant must be in Australia when the decision for granting the PR (887) is made?
  20. Guys, are the grants granted as per time line they mention while applying? When i applied it read 8 to 10 months, does it mean that they will grant by the end of the 10th month for sure? I applied on 11th April 2018. I know i have LONG way to go, just curious coz i have to get my husband here during that time, so wondering!
