  1. No any extra benefits except Medicare Interim card after you submitted 887. However, some Kindergarten will provide free service for 887 bridging visa (event it has not been in effect yet).
  2. What I learnt here is do not have new born baby while you are waiting PR. It would slow down the process a lot, for at least 4-6 months longer than usual. But I am not sure about Russki's case. I did not see anyone wait longer than him. So if Russiki got a grant, then it would be a best story to tell. Goodluck mate!
  3. To whom has made call to the Immi and get no response but "Wait". If they asked for you passport, then it means your inquiry should be already recorded and notified to the CO. If they did not ask any id, then you should ring them again. Every time when you call, different officer will pick the phone and may be they can tell you something (if you are lucky and they is nice enough). However, based on what are happening, you should only call them if your application has already lodged for AT LEAST +9 months. Why? check the excel file you will see more and more people are getting stuck in the waiting queue longer than you a lot. Goodluck and God bless all of you!
  4. 8 months is still available for direct grant if you got sufficient documents uploaded. However, 8 months is still not too soon to ask them for have a look at your application for this moment. I think you should wait about 9 months then call again.
  5. They will process as normal and will contact you for pre-grant when they sastify with your applicationand you are still offshore. Then they will ask you come back to Australia to grant the visa. However, you have to fulfill all the visa 887 requirements and do not violate any your 489 condition
  6. It is likely asked by your CO. How could you not get the transaction from your bank statement?
  7. I dont think they have an easy job mate. If they go too easy, then many devils come then many bad things would happens for Australia and would screw up the country. Then it would become a country like our home ones and you want to run away from it. Have you ever think why Aus hasnt got any serious terrorist attack like some Europe countries?
  8. I do not count but not less than 10 times. Keep calling them, mate. Different officer answers the phone in a different time and may be they could tell you what are you missing. The last time I called them was last Friday, she told me i was missing the form 929 due to changing passport/address, then I filled and sent, then got granted last Monday. Anyway, I lodged the application sooner than you a few days, so I think you will be granted very soon.
  9. It is exactly the same as mine. What is the timeline for your case?
  10. They asked 2 years living and 1 year full-time working evidences. Mostly all 887 required evidences. Actually, I have submitted all documents I had since I lodged the application, however the agent did not make it clear, in fact, the documents were upload in too messy way. CO may be confusing when she looked on it.
  11. If you did not go back to your home country or any other country after arrived to AUS then it is not required. I reckon even if you have gone back for only few weeks holiday still be OK. No need as you already provided that one since you got 489/487
  12. Yes it's me. I have just got the granted last Monday (08/10/2018). Could not be happier after a long waiting time with so much difficulties, dramas and frustrating... To all whom still waiting, from my own experience, if you got no granted after 6 months, it is likely your evidences or documents were not sufficient to get a direct grant. In that case, please consider following things: 1. Get and upload more STAT DEC (from all people who know you) 2. If you have a driver licence, please ask contact Vic road (if your licence from Vic) and ask for Driver licence history - that would show your living address from time to time 3. Make a spreadsheet to list out all of your living time from time to time and which documents file name support for it. It would make thing clear for your CO. Then upload it. 4. Do not just upload your payslips, you should make another spreadsheet that show your working hour every week or fortnight or month with which documents file name support for it. 5. Last but not least, if you believe that you have uploaded all required evidences and documents (more than 6 month), try to call Immi and inquiry about your application. If they said "cannot answer anything", hang up and try to call again. Some officers will not answer but some will and he/she may even tell you which are you missing. Or at least your inquiry will be notified to your CO. Goodluck and Hope it can help!!!
  13. Thanks Russki for your response. Actually, I have read the link that you mentioned yesterday and still not clear. Obviously, main applicant MUST hold 487/489 at least 2 years before lodging 887. However, they did NOT say that main applicant could NOT use the bills after lodgement date as proofs of their residency evidence. What they ask, again, is: HAVE LIVED in specified regional areas at least 2 years. And they did NOT say main applicant HAVE TO LIVED in any specified regional area 2 years before lodging 887. From my opinion, when you lodged 887, CO could assess your application anytime. So, at the assessing time, you MUST show them (within 28 days if insufficient) that you HAVE LIVED in specified regional areas for 2 years. As they would NOT wait or give you time to fulfil that condition when they are assessing the application. Anyway, I will provide both Statuatory Declarations and recently bills. Fingers cross. ?
  14. Please double check your name. Your name and your wife name on Police Clearance Certificate MUST be matched exact to the names on Passports.
  15. Thanks much for your advise Russki. But could you please tell me why I could NOT use the bills after lodgement date? Is that your experience or your friends experience? I could not find anywhere on the Immi website that stated those bills after lodgement date are invalid? Even I rang up the Immi, the officer sitll cannot assure. I apprieciate if you can provide any official link?
  16. Hi everyone, I came to Australia on 15-12-2015 and granted 487 on 18-12-2015. After 2 years living in Melbourne (as relative sponsored), i lodged my application 887 on 19-12-2017. I have just got contact from CO yesterday to request additional doucuments for residency. Could I provide CO the utilities bills from Feb 2016 to current date (28-06-2018) as a proof of 2 years living in Victoria? Because i came here and live with relative in first 2 month without any bills. And CO ask me for futher documents which proves me HAVE LIVED in Vic for 2 years, she did not say any specific time or date so my taken is I could provide the bills which was after my 887 lodgment date as well? Or only documents which was before and toward to the lodgement date counted? Thanks Toni
