Is it mandatory? Is it for medical examination or is it for immigration? I didn’t do it. Hope they won’t ask for it again.

I tried with couple of banks, until you get pr, they will just make it complicated. They will ask for 20 per cent deposit with other expenses plus you won’t get FHWG. You have to go thru foreign investment application which will cost 5k for no reason.

I was in same situation as you. I didn’t provide any PCC, and they didn’t ask for it. Maybe i got lucky or maybe they won’t ask for anyone. From my experience you should be ok.

Yes i did provide AFP but its been 13 months, thats why they are asking for new one i guess.

Thanks for reply Russki, is it same as afp if you apply thru https://www.nationalcrimecheck.com.au/ . As they access same database to go through. BTW i have applied through AFP website. Don’t want to take a risk . Don’t know how long i have to wait more to be granted.

Its always good idea to get new one I reckon. But it was different in my case as i had to wait for baby’s medical anyway so I didn’t update.

further more Documents requested for me today. AFP for me and my partner Health Check for Baby So question is AFP and national police check is same thing ? As AFP report processing time is 15 days and National police check is 24 hours. Any idea guys ?

I called them this morning and guy from customers service said “everything is operating normally now, holiday season is over “. I know its fukin frustrating to wait like this.

15 months is long time , did you put complaints? How many times they did contact you so far? I am on same boat. Its been fkin 11 months and still no contact, nothing.

Last week, one gentleman from call centre actually accessed my application and he told me, if case officer needed any more information they would have asked me by now. So all i can do is wait for now. Only thing is i have a kid and she has not gone through any medical checks. So wondering they will give me direct grand or will ask for medical after all this waiting period.so uncertain.

Applied myself, i do check every single day. Status is still received.

Only thing we can do is, poo on envelope and mail it to them. I am kidding don’t do it though.

i have a feeling this is silence before the storm. All backlogs until February will be clear by end of next week. Buckle up people. And specially good luck to @Russki. Want to see your grant before anyone else.

Hi Good people, Just called immigration for 6th time,. still robotic reply "Still on time Frame". operator said "if they haven't asked for anymore information in 10 months, most probably you will hear good news soon. I will give them a week, if i won't heard anything until 7/11/2018. i am going to lodge a complain as well. It has been hard long wait. Noob question - How do i check if i have any debt to commonwealth ? Any information would be great. and good luck @Russki , I am just right behind you.
