  8. Wondering why me not contacted yet ? Applied 25.02.2018 any guess ?
  9. Who else is checking their immi account every 10 mins ?
  10. No, it’s not 1 year old when you apply 887. you have to provide new one as in most of cases people spend around 3 years between 489 application to 887 application. if you provide 6 each result to prove your function level during 489 visa then you can use the same result during 887 visa if it was not older than 3 years from the date of 887 application.
  11. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/meeting-our-requirements/english-language/functional-english
  12. If you read the screen shot shared above the additional document requested for English requirements. it is clearly written that 1. functional level English need to prove for all secondary applicant who aged more than 18 years. 2. validity of score is one year. i.e it should not be older than one year at the time of application. if you prove this score with 6 each in case of IELTS(Component level) than validity of this score is 3 years.( i.e you can attach 3 year OLD result if your result is 6 each) 3. once you submit the result which is not 1 year old at the time of application, No need to resubmit/rewrite the test it even though its one year old when CO allocated. Hope that's clear the doubt.
  13. No need to prove as you already paid VAC2 during 489 cheers
  14. Go to immi account and click on"update details" then go to change of passport details. select the applicant from the list, this allows you to enter new passport details and later you have to attach the passport copies in the form. once you finish this, it will automatically attached your form and passport copies tor attachment list in your application. no need to attach it separately in file. you can also get the acknowledgement message in message section. same way you can add new passport details in your current visa(i.e 489) and your VEVO will updated within 24 hrs. and you can check your VEVO after that. No need to call them. just do it online. i did mine 2 weeks back.
  15. CO Come to know that you have been known to different name by two ways.. 1. any document you submitted in file that have different name from your passport( i.e birth certificate, driving license etc) 2. You inform them by answering question no. 4 in from 80.
  16. Hello Seniors, My Son was enrolled in public school through Temporary resident program in NSW and as a 489 holder we need not pay any tuition fees in school. but my 489 visa expire soon (applied 887 on 25/02/2018). i am worried as a bridging visa holder we need to pay tuition fees in school. in enrollment letter they clearly written that we shd inform them any change in visa subclass including bridging visa. anyone come across similar situation in NSW public school ? Thanks in advance.
  17. Yes you can One of my friend did it And he got 189 onshore from 489 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. It’s bridging Visa not assessment of file.just allow the new born to live lawfully in Australia. Not skipping any file from feb/March. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I think, there is no need to inform immigration about your overseas holiday during processing of 887. you can visit overseas when your 489 is valid. it is unnecessary and if you inform them, they may be put your file on hold. below information is from department's website.
  20. Hello Friends... if you people have noticed that the processing time 12-15 months posted is for the month ending 30 sep 2018. what i feel is the processing time during aug/sep is 12-15 month as there were only one CO (ADAM) working on files. now we have three COs ( Adam, peter, kimberly ) hence next time when they will update the processing time, it will be less than 12-15 month. similar to last year when we had 3 Cos ( adam, dat , sorphen) so cheers and be happy As Mr.887 2019 says " my calculation could be wrong but i dont think "
  21. No...They just granted bridging to his new born as new born added on later date.
  22. Hi, Karan This is what happened with me during 489 visa, they asked IELTS and PCC for my son and other things for my wife, when i closely looked up the letter, the requirement documents were swapped over with my wife and son. later i emailed them(DIBP) and advised that the documents probably swapped over between candidates and then they accepted their mistake(Earlier they reply to your mail if you wrote for genuine reason) and send me corrected letter for additional documents. request you to carefully read the additional document list and submit exactly what they want to process your file straight away.
